Great for pressurizing cooling systems
Works great for putting pressure in your cars cooling system to check for leaks. Works great easy to use. Wish I would have bought it was sooner than I did.

Good unit
I'm not using it for what it is engineered for. I use it for pressure testing the seals in heavy equipment idlers. Then force fill them with oil. It works fine.

Yes this is the tool you have been waiting
I bought this just like it is an swapped out the hose from my snap on pressure tester an adapters onto this tool it works flawlessly no more bursting coolant from the bottle because you forgot tooo release the air pressure no more pumping I’m getting old I’m trying too save body a few steps for the future it quik faster then the traditional tester this a much better design an cheaper then buying the hole set .i do this on. Professional level it must have for the tool arsenal

Great alternative to overpriced tool truck testers!
I bought this as an alternative to the Snap-On version that costs $281 before tax and I am glad I did, it is the same tool. Part of our preventive maintenance inspection at work is to pressurize the cooling system on Class 8 trucks and using a manual pump to pressurize these large systems is time consuming and tiring. This can pressurize them in seconds and you can regulate the pressure you want to pressurize them to. The pressure release button at the end of the hose is a nice feature because you can slowly release the pressure so you don't blow coolant all over the place. This tool will save you money, time, and hassle when testing cooling systems of any size. I do wish it had come with a case and an adapter for putting it on the tanks but it didn't so I bought a GM adapter (Astro 7858541) that had the fitting I needed for the quick connect and used the twist lock adapter off of my old manual tester with it.

Great tool
Used it to test my 1994 Peterbilt 379 with a 3406E Cat. Had to get a radiator cap with the male fitting in the top to connect to. Worked great!

It works 90% of a Snapon for 1/20th the $
Vacuums 3 gallon system to 20inhg in about 5 minutes. Would not go any lower, which is a little disappointing. Snap on goes to 25inhg. But it’s $650. So I will deal with it. It connects to other brands of adapters.

Pneumatic cooling system tester
Works great! I love having this it makes diagnosing cooling system leaks so much easier. Also saves a lot of time verse using the hand pump testers. Highly recommend. I have a Matco tools master cooling system tester and this works with it, Uses the same fitting.

10/10

Quick efficient way to test cooling systems
I used this tool to find an hard to find coolant leak on a Ford vehicle with rear passenger side HVAC unit (second evaporator and heater core units). These are common on many full size pickup trucks and large SUV’s. In my case, the rear heater core was leaking slowly simply because the 2 hose clamps rusted out and could no longer provide a leak-proof seal at the hoses. The small puddle of coolant was first misdiagnosed as water condensation from rear evaporator core (summer time repair). This tool gave me just enough pressure / 15 psi with shop air to slowly follow every single engine cooling components with a flashlight and find my smoking gun! Being able to concentrate my attention without constantly pumping up pressure was a real benefit. For those of you who have internal water pumps on Ford 3.5 V6, this is a great fast way to find out where your small coolant losses are coming from. It’s too easy to point out and condemn the water pump when it’s not the real issue. Tool itself feels solid. The gauge is precise and protected by some rubber on the outside. The only thing i would like to see improved is the ball valve. It feels flimsy. I don’t believe it’s worth removing a star for that.

Works great. Beats the hell out of manual pumps and can hold a steady pressure to find leaks.
Love it. Air it up and hold pressure to find leaks. Set your cooling system pressure and monitor for leaks. No need to keep pumping.

Great tool
Works really well Had a problem with it leaking right out of the box where it connects. But took the quick connect apart and lubed the O rings up has be working leak free for a month now. I use this all the time as a truck and coach mechanic. It saves alot of time on those big systems
