SigmaSPORT BC 16.16 STS Bicycle Computer 16 Functions Arrival Indicator Wireless Bicycle Speedometer Black

After years of using SIGMA I was renewing an older model with the same functions. However ... Even on the first use it malfunctioned - the readings went all over the place, then went off, then came back - only for all of the numbers to be jumbled about and lines across and up and down the screen where the numbers / words didn't show. The black numbers are very feint and can hardly be read. I changed all the batteries. Second use, the lines across the screen still there. The screen misted up inside immediately, so clearly moisture was getting in. Then after 20 minutes it indicated that the (new) batteries needed changed. Then it went off again. No readings at all. Then it went to Sleep. It came back on but with no cadence, then with no speed readings. Then it went off again. I stopped my ride and tried to reset everything - but no good. I gave up on it. It was very disappointing indeed. Then after two hours it came back on again, with the functions showing intermittently - just as I got to the end of my ride.It just does not do what it is meant to. It is thus not fit for purpose. This is a very poor product from SIGMA and does the company no credit at all. I tried to take it back to the shop that sold it - but they said not to bother. They didn't wan't it back and said just to bin it - but gave me a full refund. That says it all really - doesn't it. My advice - go for for something else.
