Baker's German's Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar, 4 Ounce (Pack of 12)

For some reason, I am unable to find this product on the grocery store shelves so I am happy that I can get it on Amazon. It is a very important ingredient in German Chocolate cake and other chocolate cake recipes I use.

German Chocolate Cake is always on my family's Thanksgiving Day menu, but the chocolate can be difficult to find in stock at the grocery store during the holidays. So I decided to purchase this item and store the bars in my freezer to ensure that I always have some on hand.

A not very well-known, but quite delicious, chocolate for eating and cooking. I found out about it from a recipe for “chocolate diablo cake” in Simone Beck’s cookbook,” Simca’s Kitchen.” It is a sweet chocolate but not a milk chocolate. It is about 48% cacao.

I used this to make chocolate peanut clusters. Worked great.

Purchased for a special cake. Was pricey, but delivery was not too long, and it was nice to purchase in bulk.
