I think it's kind of expensive for how much you get in the bag. Super high qualitybut bun doesn't like it. He's very fussy about his hey and to say is longer harder strands he likes really soft like third cut hay. But this is definitely high quality and I would recommend it. And see if your little animals would like it. It's not returnable if your BUN doesn't like it.

This is a fresh thick hay which is good to add to Timothy hay for my house rabbits. It’s a treat and it aids in digestion. Had one bun that wasn’t feeling well and got this hay and he actually ate then seemed to help him recover of whatever it was that upset his tummy.

Very fibrous. I couldn't smell anything from it but the bunnies love it! I gave both a piece and they immediately began eating it. Usually if you give them hay they will just bite it into small pieces and it will be wasted. It's a great alternative to Timothy!

My bun loves oat hay - he’ll find the bag if it’s put away and much away. Small Pet Select makes some good products so I thought I’d try their oat hay, instead of the usual Oxbow oat hay. This was very straw like, full of “sticks” that he could barely find pieces to munch. No blooms or softer pieces.We ended up dumping the whole bag on a cookie sheet & let him forage through what soft pieces he could find. It took him less than an hour.If your bun prefers the sticks this is the hay for them. Wasn’t a match for my 4.5 lb havana bunny.

My regular bunny sitter developed an allergy to timothy hay so I had to find a substitute. Our rabbit took to it right away- she's only had 2nd cutting timothy hay all her life. This batch of hay had a lot of green but also had some yellow stalks. Price for shipping via Amazon was comparable to the company's but I had no choice because Small Pet Select doesn't ship to Hawaii. Thank you Amazon!

I have three rabbits and they can't get enough of all the things I buy for them from small pet select. The quality in their hays are amazing and it shows in my buns. They get so excited when they see the boxes come in!

It only comes with 10.34oz when the description calls for 12oz.

I wanted something different for my girls so I thought I’d give this a try. I want to make sure they eat plenty of hay but they can get fed up with the same thing. They ate this and enjoyed it and binkied around in it. Will definitely buy again.

Wasn't the biggest package considering the cost and seemed to contain a lot of straw which my guinea pigs dont eat.

I have a very fussy rabbit, who refused every single type and brand of hay I bought before finding Small Pet Select. The boxes are tightly, neatly packed, and very good value for money, especially given the quality of the hay. My previously overweight rabbit now ignores his pellets to spend most of his time scoffing oat hay, and binkies when he sees me open the box. Its a great cut, no dust (although the oatheads fly everywhere), and also smells rather lovely, which is great given that I have indoor pets. This is a brilliant product, highly recommend!

My bunny loves Small Pets Select hay, because it’s always fresh and smells good, I’ve tried her on cheaper brands and I just wasted my money because she just wouldn’t entertain it, in fact all she done with the cheap hay was pee on it, I think she was trying to tell me something.
