In the end, this worked just like the factory actuator. I just had to do it twice.. So don't be like me! During the first install, I tried pushing hard on the yellow tab that grabs on to the bar connecting it to the exterior door handle in an effort to get it to latch and stay closed. Don't do this, because I Inadvertently bent the metal that the tab is connected to...so when I closed the door after putting everything back together, I could not get the door to open from the outside or inside. Doh! Luckily, you can get the interior door panel back off while the door is closed. I did this and after a little investigation realized the metal I bent and pulled it back into alignment. Everything is working great now! Moral of the story: Be sure to squeeze the tab to get it to latch and don't push on it like I did. It's hard to get the leverage given where everything is located, but it can be done.

This door lock actuator looks just like the original and fits remarkably well. It functions perfectly. It is a great product at a great price!!! A+++ Ken w (kendub)

No issues worked as it should!

This item worked for less than two months, then it stopped unlocking/locking with the electric push button system. Tested another working item, and my vehicle and electrical system works fine. This item I purchased died way before it should have. Avoid this brand. I certainly will.

A few weeks in and it’s still working great

Great fix. Perfect product

It didn’t close when I first put it in. Had to adjust the screws so it will latch properly & have to slam the door now. This was on a 2008 GMC Yukon.
