A wealth of usable information is presented, from choosing a ragdoll kitten to deciding whether to show and how. I was unaware of immune system issues and the delicate nature of this breed. We fostered and then adopted a torti chocolate ragdoll so other than dna work up, we knew little about this breed. Princess Leah is sweet and delicate as described. We enjoy morning talks and play with her. What a change from a life of raising Siamese.

I found the info helpful but need more questions. I am not showing my ragdOLLI need to know what kind of litter Tto buy etc .

I am going to add a cat to our household and I want to learn as much as I can about the breed. This book describes the personality and needs of this breed so well. The reader is given advice about selecting a breeder, the proper housing and care for this specific breed and proper care throughout the cat's life. Each breed has its own personality and this book has convinced me that the charm and loving personality of the Ragdoll cat will be a wonderful addition to our family. In addition, this book is a great reference to keep on hand. Highly recommended.

If you just want info on how to raise your pet ragdoll, this is fairly informative, but I felt thare was too much info regarding showing your cat,etc. I have no interest in breeding or showing my ragdoll, therefore I found a few of the chapters to be excessive. I would have preferred more info on just raising my particular breed.

This book is okay it has some good general information in it regarding kittens and cats. I personally feel the book is written to be to sweet and sappy. I purchased it because I was getting a new Ragdoll Kitten. After reading this book you would think that Ragdoll kittens are so sweet they do not even behave like a normal kitten. Well, I have now had my Ragdoll for 1 month and he behaves just like any normal kitten would. Sure there are differences in personalities of different breeds but a kitten is a kitten. As far as the book goes it is okay to read, nothing special.

This book has some of the cutest pictures of ragdolls that I've ever seen. There's also a variety of different types of ragdolls at different ages throughout the book. The information is helpful without droning on and on about the most mudnae things like some other books. In other words it's helpful and right to the point. Kind of like my review. I can't imagine anyone reading this book and not wating to get a ragdoll cat.

I rather enjoyed this book, and it was difficult to find a book about this specific breed, let alone caring for cats explained in a simple manner that was informative as well. Great for new cat owners, especially those with ragdolls in mind (of course). I highly enjoyed this short book and I would recommend it to others who were interested in the topic.

Purchased this for my daughter as I bought her a ragdoll kitten which is very new for us. She has found it exceptionally helpful from the most basic issues and qwerks to the more important ones. This has been her go-to resource even thought she is a bit of a google junky.

The book is easy to read but is very short and superficial. It should address more issues to be worth the price.

Eh... A lot of suggestions in this book are generic "cat care basics" informations. I was hoping for something more Ragdoll specific.

Overall a great book for first time ragdoll owners! I'd say definitely purchase this for advice on your Ragdoll cat/kitten and how to select a good one from a good breeder. This book is not like an ultimate cat guide, but it is the closest thing to it that is specific to Ragdolls. Although I don't use all of the information from this book, I used a good deal of it when choosing my kitten and it will be a book I keep all her life and constantly refer too if I need some specific information this book gives. :)

Love it, says a lot about Ragdoll cats! I have learned a lot about the specific cat I got a few months after buying the book.
