Coffee Snob Reports
Many years ago my children bought me a single source coffee beans with small grinder and a booklet about coffee. It was Ethiopian coffee. I was hooked and we join the Gavalia Coffee Club for serval years. Thatโs when I was introduced to Jamaica Blue Mountain (JBM) Coffee. The pure single-source JBM was and is expensive an expensive coffee at about $48-$70/pound. Magnum JBM Blend is very close to the flavor of the single source and very affordable. It is still held out most days as my weekend coffee as a treat. If you love coffee as I do you will enjoy the medium roast, full-bodied flavor with a hint of cocoa, and berry notes. I love to place a small pinch of Himalayan pink salt in my drip filter. It softens the water adding a soft feel to the pallet. If you taste the coffee youโve added too much.

Great coffee, great taste.
This is good coffee, it smells great, it grinds well and makes a great cup of coffee. I am using a french press and a cold brew system and this coffee is great. You grind if up, put it in the pot and with the french press a few moments later you have an excellent cup of coffee. The cold brew takes all night but you get a smooth cup of coffee in the morning that you can drink for a week before it goes bad. I will say I havent tried to drip brew it. I dont plan on it so I can not offer any help in that department. All in all this is a good coffee. It has a great taste and wonderful smell. I use 2 creamers in my 6 ounce cup and I sit back, relax and enjoy.

Very impressed
I purchased basically due to the cost and favorable reviews.. I must say that this product compares favorably with other Blue Mountain beans I have tried.. It has a similar delicate flavor to non blended Jamaican coffee although I could detect a subtle difference. Based on the pleasant taste, aroma and given it's low cost I will purchase again.

This is my number one coffee
I have been drinking coffee, without cream or sugar, for about forty years. I purchase whole bean and grind and brew it fresh. This is a 'blend' so do not expect 100% Jamaican Blue. Last year, I did buy some 100% Jamaican Blue coffee beans at $35/pound. To be honest, I did not really care for the 100% Blue. Maybe the cost affected my taste buds. It is hard to describe taste. To me, this blend is mild and full of flavor as compared to many others. In the past year, I have gone through about fifty pounds of this and still enjoy it. I sometimes like to experiment with different types of coffee beans. The other beans by Magnum, that have comparable types in the local markets, have all been superior in flavor and similar in price to the available local brands. I would highly recommend any of the 'Magnum Coffee' types of coffee. This one is just my overall favorite. Ken

Price Jacking w/vendor
Great coffee, but the vendor jacked up the price after I ordered it once.

Very happy to have found this
You can pay $65 - $100 USD per pound for 100% BMJ depending on the estate where it is grown. Much cheaper on the island at the markets. I woke up every morning on the island with 100% BMJ. Perfect cup or 3. haha This is a solid representation of what I had on the island in 2002 Nagril. So I can afford to have this on the regular. strong caffeine. medium roast, whole bean. Only grind it fresh. It takes me back without breaking my wallet. Irie mon

Have been drinking this coffee for years, but this batch could not hold a candle to the beans delivered in the past
We have ordered the Magnum Whole Bean Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee for more years than I can count. This is the first time the coffee arrived looking a dull brown, without the aroma that exudes from the bag that we are accustomed to. Normally the beans are shiny, almost oily, and when you cut open the bag the first time the entire kitchen is fragranced with the wonderful smell. We contacted the company that fulfilled the order, and they responded quickly. Very strange that the new packaging had a lion and acasia tree on it, typical of Africa NOT of Jamaica. We were informed by the seller that the manufacturer had changed the packaging. It appears that the roast on this coffee was not the same as all the coffee we had ordered in the past. The flavor of the coffee is just okay, but seems to be missing that fragrance that we are accustomed to as we freshly grind and prepare our coffee each morning. Our next order will NOT be for 2 two pound bags until we see if this is the new normal.

Strong. Smooth. A little pricey.
I love this coffee. I have used it for years. Every other coffee I have had have a bitter after taste, are bitter over all, or are just plain weak. This delivers a strong, fresh, smooth flavor with 0 bitterness! Every time! There are other places I can get it cheaper with the same quality and taste, but I often run out before I can get to Costco, so I end up ordering here. Costco has much better prices.
