Lubricant Eye Gel, Severe, 0.34 Fl Oz

GenTeal Tears Gel helps to lubricate and sooth extremely dry eyes. This is a quality product distributed by Alcon Laboratories. I was happy to see it available from Amazon because last year I was unable to find the product anywhere in the U.S. or Canada! GenTeal Tears Gel is an effective treatment for dry eye syndrome. It is especially helpful during the winter months when the heat is on. It is expensive but after trying other dry eye remedies I find this product works! The gel is thick so it temporarily distorts the vision so I primarily use it at night before bed. It has no effect on sleep quality.

My optometrist recommended I give this a try, because I have macular degeneration and very sensitive, dry eyes. It has really made a difference in my ability to read, watch television, or any of the other activities I enjoy without the dryness, burning, and itching. I try to make sure I always have some on hand. It works great for me.

I have severe dry eyes and I have been looking for substitute for Muro drops and ointment for months. I can't find Muro anywhere plus it is crazy expensive. I saw this GenTeal gel and decided to give it a try. First of all, it really doesn't seem like a gel. It is more like slightly thicker drops. I was expecting a much thicker product. There's no stinging when I insert this gel into my eyes like with Muro but I guess the stinging is to stimulant the tear ducts and make them produce tears. This gel leaves my eyes blurry for a few minutes then they feel refreshed and much less dry. The lubrication lasts about six hours, sometimes more. I use this gel during the day and I just ordered the ointment to use at night. I am hoping it is thick and will keep my eyes lubricated all night. If so, I may have found my Muro substitutes. This is definitely better than regular eye drops and I will continue buying it.

I use it at night because I have dry eye and I have a thinner gel that I use during the morning when I first wake up and but this stuff is amazing. It really is amazing. I noticed that I don’t wake up with dry eye at night, you know in the morning after sleep and I have used it at various times in the morning and it works all day long. It’s a very good product. I highly recommend

Gen Teal, Severe, is fantastic for dry eyes. It lasts longer than gel drops and is very soothing.

A wonderful eye gel. I’ve been using this brand for years. I trust this product so much that I gave six (6) tubes to a friend who wanted an eye gel because the eye drop (another brand) she had been using actually does not help. She is happy with the GenTeal eye gel and I’m glad she’s happy with it. I’m a loyal customer of GenTeal eye gel.

I have Sjögren’s syndrome and use this nightly to keep my eyes from getting more callouses. Shipper was great!
