Bright UBV light
I got this for my Ribbon snakes' terrarium and so far, the light works great. The light is bright and provides the essential UBV.

Works great!
I bought this 12” Zoo Med T5 UVB bulb to go into my 12” Arcadia fixture and it fits perfectly! It has been so hard to find this size T5 bulb available so I am very glad it was available through Amazon. My Ocellated Skink is very pleased with this bulb. There were a few shipping delays but it arrived very well packaged in multiple layers of bubble wrap in a box just fine.

I use these on all my gecko enclosures for Uvb tokays,and giant day gecko enclosures last long time if used on timers like I use. change then once a yr

Great bulb, but I wish they lasted longer...
These bulbs are absolutely necessary for your reptiles, but the UVB light output drops off fairly quickly. We replace the bulb every six months for this reason. Although the bulb still lights up and provides illumination, the UVB that your lizard needs is not good after about 6 months.

GREAT BUY
Ordered this for my chameleon off a suggestion from a youtube video and am happy that I did. Previously had a dome UVB light and this one fits perfectly across the top of my chameleon's cage. It's definitely made her a lot happier being able to receive more lighting than the dome light! Definitely worth purchasing as well as it comes with one light in the hood that I purchased so the additional one is just backup for when the other goes out! SO SCORE all the way around!

Product fine; packaging "iffy"
I previously wrote that when the product arrived it did not work. Because it was a light bulb and was packaged in only an envelope, I was sure it had been damaged in transit. HOWEVER, the bulb DOES WORK. I did try it three times, but apparently it was "operator error"...my husband was finally able to get it adjusted properly and it does work. I apologize for my previous review, but I did, in fact, try several times to get it to work. I would recommend, perhaps, some better packaging, just to ensure no in-transit damage is done. Thank you.
