Dragonbreath #7: When Fairies Go Bad

My 7 year old advanced reader has read every single book in this series and giggles along the way. My nine year old has read them and enjoyed them as well. Nice way to get them to read while they actually enjoy it. Ideal for advanced readers that are struggling with chapter books. These books have advanced vocabulary but the storyline and images help keep their attention.

Love the series. My son is 9 years old. He says "It is funny, cool & an awesome book". Can't wait for the newest book to come out in January 2013.To the parents:If you want your son to read books - get this series. During the summer he started the series. I couldn't keep up with him in getting the next book for him to read. When he entered the 3rd grade this Fall, he was in the top reading group in his class. I truly believe it was because the series was so engaging that the computer games took a back seat to reading. Don't hesitate to get this series. A happy Mom.

I bought this for my son, 9 years old at the time, and he devoured the book! It's an adventurous read with colorful characters and doesn't weigh them down like a heavier book would (like Harry Potter). Don't let the titles scare you away - these books are fun and harmless and often show concepts of true friendship.He loved the first one so much, we bought another and then the whole series!You don't have to read them in order or one to understand the second (etc) It helps, but not necessary.

My 8 year old son absolutely LOVES these books and he chose one of them for a book report at school. I like them because the books are part comic and part novel so I don't feel like he's only reading a comic strip book. We usually get ours from the library but needed a copy of the book to have on an extended basis for the report. My son has read and re read almost the entire series!

My son loves his books, the only issue I have is they’re not coming out fast enough for him LOL

I loved the book the dragon breath series is amazing the character designs in the book are great and there is a lot of humor here and there

It's okay. It could have some quick add-ons to it, though. I bought these for a ten year old who had read one in school and he liked them so much that I have bought the whole series for him and will be buying more as they are available. I gave the 5 star because he loved them so much that he would not hardly put them down until finished.
