Hey there, just wanted to share my thoughts on this AquaTru Alkaline Connect water purifier I picked up recently. This thing is seriously cool, and it makes water taste incredible! So, it's got this smart tech feature that lets me keep track of stuff like filter usage and water quality right from my phone. But the best part? It shows the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels, both in the tap water and the clean water tank. So you can see the difference it's making in real time. It's honestly mind-blowing to see what's actually in our tap water! And speaking of what's in the water, this little device removes 83 different contaminants. Yeah, 83! Crazy, right? I never knew how many nasties were in my water until I started using this. But the best part? The taste. Seriously, this water tastes so good! It's clear, refreshing, and just feels clean, you know? The purifier uses a blend of minerals and a reverse osmosis process, which I think makes all the difference. The setup was a breeze too. No plumbing is needed. Just pop it on the countertop, and off you go. And with filters that last between 6 months and 2 years, it's pretty low maintenance. So yeah, I totally recommend the AquaTru. It's made a big difference to me - healthier, tastier water, less waste, and I get to see exactly what's being filtered out. What's not to love?​

Was delivered, we set it up! Power went to the machine but it was dead and defective (wouldn’t filter the water) never started filtering upon turning it on (did nothing) though it did beep upon turning on and the WiFi was lit up. Called Amazon customer support. They ended up refunding my money because there was no option for exchange. We are attempting to order another one because we researched systems and this is the one we chose. Let’s hope the next one works. Hope this isn’t a red flag about the longevity of the product.

I had to returned this product because the filter water kept having a weird taste and smell after a whole week of using it. Easy to set up but the funny taste didn’t go away after several days of using it

I grew up in the Cascade Mountain Range in Oregon. I never knew how great that fresh, spring-fed well water was until I moved to Texas. I thought my top-of-the-line pitcher filter did okay. The little meter said there were zero TDS. Reading about what that filter didn't catch prompted me to do some research and buy this. Man, I wish I'd bought this years ago. The water is just like a cold glass out of that fresh spring back home. My only criticism is that the app is outdated, and I had a terrible time connecting it to Wi-Fi. The company does a great job of supporting you if you can get past Amazon support. If you buy it here, Aquatru customer support won't be able to help you without going through some trouble. Once the manufacturer was involved, it got worked out. The company really went the extra mile to be sure I was a happy customer. On a final note, if the app is right about filter life, I'm going to spend less on filters for this than I was spending on the old pitcher-style filter. Less plastic in a landfill too.

Very very disappointed . I purchased with a lot of trust and high expectations after carefully combing through Youtube reviews. In process of returning the product. And I never return products. The taste of the water is terrible for every member of the household. We don't know what is wrong with it , it was very easy to setup. Yet it simply is undrinkable. Did 12 rounds of refills in hopes that it gets better. It doesnt. Even before tasting it, the water smells awful after pouring into a glass too.

A bit better than a month in and it is filtering the way it is supposed to. All tests show 6 ppm, better than most bottled waters. Very happy with the product. Paid for the warranty, because I want at least 3 years out of this thing. 3rd filter system I have tried and it has been the only one that is a true reverse osmosis system. Please note that if there is zero waste then it is NOT reverse osmosis... This is a good product.
