So this deodorant works well but only if there is hair under your arm. Otherwise it only lasts for an hour or two if you sweat a lot. With hair it lasts all day.Scent is really good, was looking for a scent free one but this is so subtle its just as good.It might irritate skin since its pretty much baking soda as a paste.

This is the best deodorant I’ve ever used! It was recommended to me and I was skeptical because I’ve tried so many deodorants over the years, but this totally neutralizes underarm odor and I’ve been so happy with the results. Bonus that it’s natural. I’ve been using for a few years now and can’t live without it. Don’t stop making it please :)

I have tried every deodorant under the sun, after becoming aware of all the toxins in commercial deodorants I immediately switched to natural deodorant: the issue with that was the stench that was coming off me! I did clay detoxs, and was on natural deodorant for years, tried them all ( or so I thought ).. everyone worked for a couple weeks and then the stink came back and it was embracing and annoying!I came across this deodorant and was drawn to the name. its so fitting for the apology needed to our bodies for all the toxins we unknowingly have put on us.This is my 3rd time buying this and I will continue .. I don't have the stink that had returned in the past with this deorant. it keeps me smelling fresh, odor free and sometimes requires re applying if its a really long hot day.The smell is incredible and the texture is like butter .. during the winter its firmer due to the temperature but that's nothing to complain about.buy this !! you will love itand the sweet hand written note that comes along with it as well <3

At first I was very pleased with this deodorant, it smells nice but it's not too strong. However, be aware if you have sensitive pits like I do. Like many natural deodorants this contains baking soda (sodium bicarbonate as it shows up in the ingredients list) and for many people this doesn't bother them at all. However, after a few months of use it started to give me really bad rashes. After they healed and I tried it again, same thing happened. This deodorant's definitely worth a try but if you start getting any irritation, find something else.

I discovered this product because someone walked into a yoga studio where I worked and gave us samples.I almost threw it out several times before trying it , but I'm glad I did not because it is works the best of any natural deodorant I found.I was noticing that the salt deodorant that I have been using for years was not holding up for my full work shift ( massaging people) and so I decided to try this which somehow works great. I have completely switched over and ordered a full size.

I stumbled upon this in a boutique shop in Bolinas, CA where two women were fawning over the most amazing product they'd ever used. Turns out it was this. After hearing them and the shop owner rave on and on, I decided to buy some.I have been using this for 18 months and absolutely love it! My body tends to grow "used" to deodorants after about a year, and this is still working to keep me stink free. I have tried dozens of other traditional and natural deodorants, and they have not even come close to this one. Someone else complained about the smell, but I find this to smell quite pleasant.My only complaint is that it is inconvenient to put on. It's in a tin, so my hands have to come in contact with the product, and since it's designed to stay on your skin, it takes some time to wash it off. I am typically in a rush to get ready, so it's a testament to the effectiveness of this product that I continue to use this even though it adds an extra minute to my daily routine.

This is my 1st time ordering a natural deodorant a 2nd time. The lemony scent is strong enough to for real neutralize odor, yet mild enough to go undetected on the body. Your body heat melts it down a bit for smoother application and dissolves into your skin. It's perfect for sensitive skin, other natural deodorants would irritate my pits and make me break out (ew). Doesn't sting after shaving :'D For the most part it keeps my armpits dry, and sweaty free, but on intensely hot days I will have some precipitation coming through. Personally, that doesn't bother me bc so little sweat emerges, but to each their own.So awesome that they throw in a travel size (for those hot days!), and the personal note she includes really touches my heart <3

I bought my first tin of Apology at Rainbow Grocery in San Francisco. I was looking for a deodorant that didn't come in plastic packaging, and Apology's tin fit the bill. The scent and the all natural ingredients are great. One tin also lasts for a long time! I traveled with my first tin in Central Asia, the Caribbean, and West Africa while bicycle touring. It's much firmer in cold temperatures and much softer in hot climates, but still totally usable in either form and works excellently even in high sweat conditions. I'm converted and happy to be free from plastic and chemicals in this part of my life. I'm currently on the East Coast and couldn't find Apology in a store, so was glad to find it on Amazon. Thank you for an excellent product!
