The Good Seasons Garlic & Herb dry mix dressing is a delicious addition to slow cooker Irish Stew. Cut sirloin roast into cubes, rub in flour and put in a slow cooker. Add dry salad mix over the meat. Cut stew vegetables of your choice such as onions, carrots, turnips, etc, add around the meat in the slow cooker. Add a can of beef broth. Cook several hours until juices thicken and meat is tender. Makes a delicious rich flavored stew.

FOR A LONG TIME I COULDN'T FIND THESE IN THE GROCERY STORY SO I BOUGHT A DOZEN. OF COURSE AFTER USING THEM FOR A WHILE THEY SHOWED UP AGAIN IN THE GROCERY STORE. BUT THEY'RE A GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO THE BASIC "BOTTLED" SALAD DRESSING. JUST ADD OIL AND VINEGAR AND A LITTLE WATER. FRESH SALAD DRESSING.

I use this with Alessi white Balsamic vinegar and olive oil to make a terrific base for pasta salad !My local Walmarts only carry the Italian mix!
