A: Female fig trees produce edible fruit.  Caprifig is considered to be a male tree.

A: Sorry! I live in PR. The trees are small and I guess will take a couple of years to give of fruit. I have them in pots and are growing perfect.

A: I over fertilized them and that killed all four.   I then ordered a fig tree about 8 inches all.  I planted it in a full sun area where there is plenty of water and good drainage and it is thriving.
