But traditional rubber bands wear off very fast, dry and break easily. So we went with silicone. A great slim wallet!
The plates are thin, the band is strong, it's a great replacement for a wallet. I've tried most of the affordable slim wallets I can get my hands on, and this is the only one I've kept. Most are too difficult to remove the cards from if carrying too many cards... I regularly carry 8 or 9. Or they are bigger than I want for a front-pocket wallet. This is no frills: 2 plates and a band and the cards you want to carry, nothing more. I've owned mine for about 6 months and bought additional bands to be safe but I'm still using the original band with no signs of wear.
