Keeps honest coworkers out of your stuff.
This lock bar is great and very easy to install. The locksmith in my department said the little included Master pad lock is of quality and are harder to cut than other locks of the same size. I needed something to keep my "honest" coworker's out of my keyed alike cabinet we each have for our tools. My only complaint would be the included self tapping screws are of zero quality and the heads will pop off if you don't reem the holes after drilling. I would definitely purchase again but would use my own hardware.

EASY INSTALLATION! Secure!
I love the design. It is reversible for either Left or Right. A simple padlock secures my files. I love it. Everything needed to install it comes with the kit. It could not be easier. I love the spring loaded feature that keeps locking bar out of the way. PERFECT!

Works like a charm
I have purchased this security bar 3 times for file cabinets at work. It's easy to install even for the novice power tool user. I used my drill to make pilot holes first, then I used the self drilling screws the secure the bar in place. Everything you need for the install is included with the exception of a drill.

Great Locking Bar
I bought this locking bar to go on a filing cabinet that didn’t have a lock. This was even better than having a lock. Not only was it easy to install but I purchased it with a padlock. I didn’t even have to use the drill bit that came with it. Even though it was great to have one just in case. What was even better they sent extra screws.

It does a great job locking up our filing cabinet!
We were able to use it on a three drawer cabinet if you don't mind it covering about 1/2 of the top and bottom drawer. Its holding up well after basically daily use for the past 3 months.

Great lock to keep my kids out
Very easy to install and use. Put it on my work bench to keep the kids out and using and losing my tools. Very sturdy.

Easy to install, keeps files safe
Great for keeping files safe. I had to look up a video on YouTube to understand how to install but after that was able to install easily.
