These are great combs. They seem less prone to snag and tangle my curly hair. They have a nice weight, they are unlikely to break, and they come in nice metallic colors. They are now my favorites.

Pleasantly surprised to see that the aluminum comb was longer than I expected. It has a very industrial look, which I like alot. The only reason that I did not give it a 5 star rating, was because the fine tooth section of the comb's teeth, are spaced farther apart than the combs that I've had in the past. That aside, I like the durability of the product very much.

My mother had a metal comb forever, and I loved it. When I saw these, I thought I would try them, They are even better. I love the half tooth on one end...It works great at parting or gathering hair sections. Lastly, the teeth or comb doesn't bend or crimp like a plastic comb. My hubby likes his too. I'm going to order some more for my sister.

My story is about combs, not scissors. For combing my wet hair back neatly after a shower and hair softener application , while still wet, I use a very finely toothed comb and just let it dry naturally. I had only one such comb, but it was very old and some of the tines/teeth were slightly bent. I thought I'd need to find a barber or beauty supply store plus some luck to find what I wanted, but decided to try Amazon first. Lo and behold, there it was (actually a pair of combs), available on Amazon. And with a bonus, they were made of Aluminum so I wouldn't need to worry about the teeth getting bent. I used one of them yesterday entirely successfully. Truly a prize, yet so simple.
