PLS USP PLS POWER LOSS SENSOR

I connected the yellow and black wires of the USP Power Loss Sensor to the two terminals in an Ecolink Z-Wave Plus Door/Window contact sensor then setup a Rule Machine rule : when the sensor is open on true send a Pushover message that the power is out and on false send a Pushover that the power returned. This works great and was very easy to setup in about 5 minutes. Of course my Hubitat hub is connected to a UPS and the Power Loss Sensor is just plugged straight into an outlet.The Power Loss Sensor pretty much snapped into the bottom of the Door/Window sensor so I didn't even bother taping them together since I don't expect it to get moved or bumped much were I have it, but they could be taped together for better rigidity.

The unit does work for me. I have the NC output connected as a Zone on my DSC Alarm system, to report GFCI power loss and recovery events on my garage refrigerator. circuit. My Vera system monitors the alarm zone GFCI conditions, and generates SMS texts and emails to alert me to any failures, and to confirm restoration when I reset the unit. The voltage adapter holds the relay for a second or two on a power loss, which I expect will help avoid it being oversensitive to momentary power dips.The only disappointment I have with the unit is that the relay assembly doesn't have any mounting tabs that would facilitate a robust installation. It all just hangs there loosely. For the moment I have used cable ties to hold it all together, but it's a bit vulnerable, and I'm looking for some kind of small, mountable enclosure to clean up and protect the permanent installation.

Works perfectly. The wires are clearly labeled. Connected the N/C and C wires to a sensor that accepts N/C dry contact input, and it successfully reports as soon a power is lost. Using this for a freezer that is connected to a GFCI plug, so that I can receive a notification when power is lost to the outlet.

Work as designed. Connected to alarm power failure for fish tank

Simple to install. Installed to a contact sensor to get power outage on my Z-wave system.
