I bought this because roof rats insisted on getting under my trailer and climbing up in the walls, where they urinated and cavorted and probably made new babies. I couldn't keep them out, and I was tired of poisoning them, only to have them return. I put this stuff up over the skirting, making sure there were no holes anywhere and burying a few inches in the ground to keep them from digging in underneath. It worked! No more rats. No more varmints of any kind. Highly recommended for people with vermin problems.

I'll start with the positives. Price is the best out there. Especially when comparing to retail stores. Also finding a 48" tall hardware cloth is difficult in general, especially right now with everyone doing home improvement projects.My biggest negative for this product is the quality/ it came defective. Although this product is priced well, when your first 10ft of product are messed up, that sucks. The mesh was not attached in several random areas, so not all squares are 1/4 inch. That means small critters could potentially get in, and it just looks bad. Also the sturdiness/strength seems to be less than some other brands, but again, based off price, it's too be expected.

I used this product to staple over lattice and cut to fit my Koi pond. It was perfect! It looked nice, kept all the leaves out. Now that season is over, the lattice panels are removed and stored in the garage until next fall. (This hardware cloth stays in place stapled to the lattice.) You can paint the lattice if you want to color coordinate.In the past I used tents, mesh, chicken wire; all are ridiculous. They cannot be reused from year to year. The tent is a pain to keep clean. The mesh keeps getting torn and snags on any stones, walls or equipment.Stapling the hardware cloth is easy, stays nice for many years, looks really nice, can still see through and watch the fish and easy to toss food out. As some of the food is left on the top of the lattice, just brush it into the water. During the summer if it is too hot, these same lattice panels can be placed over the top of the pond and shades the pond and keeps it cooler.

I have an 8 week old puppy and live in a 2nd floor apartment so the balcony is her only immediate outdoor space. I needed something that would prevent her from getting through the gaps on the balcony railing but that was light weight, easy to shape, and that wouldn’t block her from seeing out. This met all of my criteria. It is very easy to shape but also very durable. I was able to attach it to the railing with wire and I was able to cut it to size with kitchen shears. The mesh is small enough that she can’t bite or pull on it which is also a plus. I had considered traditional chicken wire but ultimately, this was a much better option.

It's very lightweight... The old stuff we have is strong... this bends if you touch it with your boob (true story).So.... I am not sure if I just misread but... it's lightweight and not heavy duty.Plus, you do not need 1/4 inch to keep predators out. 1/2-1 inch is fine. I'll be getting that instead..... but double checking that it's HEAVY DUTY next time.It's also VERY SHARP... the ends are not sealed off so they are all pointy... so be careful.

Purchased the fabric to create a large divided bin to hold decomposing leaves and branches. The fabric works well and should last a very long time. Choose 1/4 inch because we shred leaves very fine to speed up decomposition. Since I also add green materials such as kitchen scraps, the fence helps to keep wildlife from raiding the pile and the wind from blowing things back into the yard. I am happy with the product because it is very sturdy and serves the purpose for which it was intended.

Item was defective. Missing wire in fencing and holes in fencing. Had to use for time sensitive project, but I am not happy. I cut around some of the bad spots, wasting a lot of fence.

Great product! Shipped well. Just what we were expecting but had a way better price than you can find in a home improvement store.
