"One night a monster comes to visit Conor with a warning that he will tell the boy three stories that will help him, not in the ways he expects, but will help him nonetheless, and when the monster is finished, Conor will tell him a fourth tale, his tale, his truth and his nightmare."With a mix between the original book and the movie, this is a beautiful adaptation for the stage. It's beautifully written, emotional and leaves you wanting more but with a tear rolling down your cheek as you close it.Read in a couple of hours, I found it easy to dive into, also because I have read the book two times and seen the movie countless times.I wished that I could have seen it live, I hope that the do the play again sometime soon!
