SpeedoWomen's Swimsuit One Piece Powerflex Ultraback Solid

This is what the suit looked like after only 3 months of swimming....and only 3 times a week for 30 minutes each time. The pool was a salt pool, so the chlorine was not over the top by any means. The suit completely faded and stretched out so as to be unusable. I contacted Speedo directly and they refused to help in any way and simple told me to deal with the seller. That is not possible as it past the return window. So, buyer beware.Very poor customer support from Speedo. They simply said they would not help and added insult to injury by not allowing a reply to their email...I would have to start a whole new case in order to let them know my feelings. Very poor. I am looking for alternatives.I changed the rating due to one nice thing that happened. I contacted the company by going outside of the customer support area and they did agree to replace the suit. Very nice of them, but it is what should have been done initially.

My experiences with this suit have been good. I used my first suit (navy) several times a week for maybe 18 months of lap swimming & it still looks fine. Put side-by-side with a new one of the same color, the used version is just very slightly lighter, nothing dramatic. I bought a new one because my first one was beginning to be a tiny bit loose, occasionally trapping air during turns. But I'll save my original suit for outings that don't involve lap swimming -- as I said, it still looks & fits fine.Swim suit sizing is tricky. For lap swimming, I personally prefer a really snug fit. But when we're lucky enough to have some beach time, I like something that isn't quite as tight. I found the sizing between suit 1 & suit 2 to be consistent. Compared to other suit brands/models I've bought for lap swimming, I needed one size smaller than usual in this one.

I read other reviews and ordered my normal size 14. The suit arrived. It was so small, I was afraid I was going to rip it putting it on. The straps cut into my shoulders. When I finally wrestled it on I had to do a downward dog pose to get everything in place. It looked and felt at least 2 sizes too small.I was going to order a size 18, figuring a 16 would still be tight. But I decided to chance the size 16.The 16 came, it was baggy. I held the suits up to compare. The 14 was at least 2 inches smaller in all dimensions than the 16. I was OK with keeping the 16 as I use it for lap swimming. It is a good suit for staying in place. I don't get the sizing of these suits.

I got this suit quickly for a trip to the Bahamas in December 2012. I measured my waist and hips and ordered based on the size chart. The suit fit perfectly. I am 5'10" and weigh 174lbs I ordered a size 16. When I put it on it fit very well on the hips and butt, it's a little big in the chest area but not noticable to anyone but me. When I pulled it out of the box I suddenly realized it's the same exact suit my mom has had for the past oh..15years or so! Could not believe I managed to search the internet for a suit and buy the same one (even the same color) she has...well, at least I know it will last a long time! Overall good purchase!

I've been a swimmer for 35 years and worn different brands. Obviously, as I have aged, I want a different style of suit than when I was young. This suit covers the areas a 56 year old wants covered and is very comfortable. My last Speedo had a bra with padding which moved around and the suit was heavily lined. This suit is lined, but not as thick. Very good fit.

snug comfortable fit. perfect for swimming laps and moving through the water. Nothing creeps and moves. it is very conservative with the suit hitting right where your hip starts.negatives...already starting to show wear after a few months even with rinsing out the chlorine.also, the lining is a bit thin and not that supportive through the bustline. with wear it doesn't hold up that well.

The material seems good but the sizes are not really adequate. I had to return size 6 as it was a bit tight and I am 5’3’’ and 133lbs which should have fit me fine

I wear speedo swimsuit since early 90’s for swimming competition, this one is a conservative version of the standard competition swimsuit, is comfortable and flattering. I definitely recommend!
