Declan Irish Double Wall Insulated Glass Coffee Cups (Set of 2) -15-Ounces

This is actually my third order of these glasses. My first order was about a year ago, and I have loved these mugs. Keeps my coffees and lattes nice and hot for a while. Definitely not as good as a thermos, but leaps and bounds above a coffee mug. They look great, easy to clean, and guests love these glasses. Unfortunately, while washing a glass a few weeks ago, it slipped and knocked against the side of my stainless steel sink. Instant shatter. I didn't think twice and ordered a replacement set off Amazon. It came in two days as promised, but unfortunately, there was no cushion packs in the amazon box. As a result, when I opened the JoyJolt box, both glasses were broken into fine little pieces. I processed a refund, and I am currently sitting on my cozy couch sipping my coffee. Would absolutely buy again!

I bought this set of 2 Joy Jolt Declan Irish Double Wall Insulated Glass Coffee Cups-15 ounces to enjoy coffee with my husband by seeing the coffee and foam layers, they turned out better than we expected! They are very light weight, sturdy, microwave and dishwasher safe, keeps our drinks hot while the outer layer and handles stay cold! I put the cup in the microwave for 1 min, my milk came out steaming but the cup and especially the handle were cold so I easily took the cup out without any burns like I usually get with other ceramic or glass cups. We loved them so much that we orders another set for out kids to enjoy their hot chocolate with it! My kids love them too as these cups are very light so they can carry them around without spilling! I would definitely recommend this product to all my family and friends! :)

As other reviewers have noted, these cups are amazingly light, but that does not detract at all from keeping your drink piping hot. They kept my cocoa a nice hot temperature right to the last drop but the outside was barely warm. No ceramic mug has ever done that. The overall design is simple but elegant, these are beautiful cups. They deserve to be displayed as an artistic statement, not packed away in the cupboard.

I saw these on the Amazon website and bought them for my husband after he had broken a few other clear glass heavier ones of a different popular brand. The other brand we had used for years so in the past year I decided to replaced them with the SAME brand which turned out to now be poorly manufactured with obvious highly inferior quality control. They arrived with rough areas where two halves were pieced together on the rims and with visible cracks. I sent them back. The replacements were no better. Amazon customer service was excellent...twice! (The reviews of others on Amazon reflected my same feelings of how the quality issues of the once popular brand went downhill.) I searched and found these double walled 15 oz. Declan JoyJolt cups and decided to splurge and purchased 4 of them. (They are pricy so that is why I gave the 4 STAR rating.) They are quality smooth clear glass double walled cups without any rough or abnormal spots. We are enjoying the new form and view of our teas or coffees within. So far so good after 2 mos of use. Because of the thinner lighter weight glass composition, I would not use them with younger children who would possibly not be as careful with them to cause easy breakage. UPDATE: AUGUST 13, 2019 In late July while having a coffee, I noticed a shiny reflection on the cup and inspected it closely. There was a fine hairline crack located within the outer glass wall that extended about 3-4 inches around and ascended up half way vertically on the cup. I felt the area of the line and could not feel any roughness at the crack and stopped using the cup. There wasn't any chip but a visible fine line within the outer wall. I hoped these expensive cups would have lasted for more than a few months with proper care by adult use and would prove to be more durable. We hoped to purchase these as anniversary gifts for our in laws based on own longevity and pleasure in using these cups daily, but now have reconsidered gifting after this experience. Can't return them but beware of even with extra care, the glass may show stress cracks at some point like our cup.

These are my favorite glasses A bit delicate. But worth it

Loved the lightness of the 15oz and especially liked the comfortably shaped handle that holds my 12oz coffee with room for cream. I gave it 4 star for durability. But that is probably not fair. It “feels” fragile because it is so light and double-walled. I feel I need to be more careful. But it has gone in and out of the microwave and lifted and placed on my tile counter without any problems. Perhaps it just gets more getting used to. I am certainly not going to push it and I do not use metal spoons in this cup. Absolutely no imperfections.

I have always loved the aesthetic of clear glass coffee mugs, but always found them to be better in concept than reality - they tended to be overly fragile, and would start too hot to touch but then lose heat remarkably quickly. Enter JoyJolt - durable, microwaveable and dishwasher-safe, easy to hold, amazingly well insulated, and a delight to drink out of. My wife and I have been using our sets for the last couple of months, and despite daily use and runs through the dishwasher, they still look brand new, are a joy to look at, and keep our coffee hot far longer than our old ceramic mugs. So yeah, I’m pretty happy.

I had a 16 Oz cup but it was heavy for à cup with think glass. These cups are glass but so light. They are doublewalled so the coffee stays hottes longer. Love them.

Love these mugs. They’re pretty, large, comfortable in the hand, and hold heat/cold fairly well. Use them daily and they’ve held up. I do hand wash, though.

Really love the mugs bigger than expected and quite elegant

I bought a set of two a few months ago and loved them. The double walling means the outside doesn't get hot, so its very comfortable to hold. They are beautiful and aesthetic making tea-time/ coffee-time more enjoyable. I usually handwash, but my husband has put them in the dishwasher many times without issue. I managed to break one (hitting another mug) 1 month in, and then finally ordered another set, because I still loved them so much. I broke another one in a similar fashion 1 week in. They also get scratches on the bottom quite easily from our stone top coffee table. So, they are not hardy, but i have to say, they are still my favourite mugs and I will probably order again at some point.
