This is a great knife for the money. It is a full tang knife so the odds of it breaking are greatly reduced, and at the same time it is light weight and easily manipulated. The hard case that it comes with is sturdy and wont crack easily. It is easy enough to secure on to your boot either underneath the laces or on the side.The only thing that sucks about the knife is the "whistle". For those that did not notice, the sheath this knife comes with has a whistle built in. It doesn't work at all and is kind of a silly feature. Luckily like most of you I didn't buy this knife because the sheath has a nifty built in whistle so it really doesn't bother me.All in all a good knife for the money, buy with confidence.

I've purchased 3 of these knives over the past few years. I originally bought this to use as a boot knife, however as you will read in other reviews, the handle will rub and poke you in the leg if you lace it like they have in the picture. I do not recommend as a boot knife. I later found its true calling... I now wear this knife around my neck when I'm kayaking. And I do a lot of kayaking. Whether I'm fishing or going out for a weekend camping trip on the river, it is convenient and always in reach. All in all, its a handy blade to have in my collection and a great bargain for the price. To the ones that are knocking the quality of this knife and giving it poor reviews, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT? ITS A $7 KNIFE!!!

I bought two for me and my wife to use in emergency situations while canoe fishing. The steel on the handle and blade are fairly thick. One was sharp and the other was not very sharp. The blade is only ground to an edge on one side. The other is flat like on a wood chisel. The plastic on the handle looks like it is glued together over the metal. One of them was not placed right and does not fit perfect on the latch of the sheath, but it clips and holds just fine. One of the lanyards was thick and the other was thin. The sheath is fairly thick and solid. I drilled 5 more holes on each side of the sheath and used the lanyards to tie them to the straps of our life vests. All in all it is a good buy for the price, as long as it cuts rope and fishing line when needed.

I’m no expert, but I would consider this a Solid product. Knife and case are of good quality. The picture is misleading though. This case does not have the holes for a lace like I thought they would. A tutorial to show how it would be attached to a boot would help customers. Blade is also not as sharp as I would expect a brand new knife to be. Sharp, but not brand new, straight from the factory, and out of the box sharp. Overall, a solid product at a good price.

Great daily knife. I use it to open boxes at work and I prefer a fixed blade. The blade fits firmly Iinto the sheath and takes some effort to take out ( which is great for saftey). I had to sharpen it our of the box because it came rather dull bit that was a easy remidy with a whet stone.

I was very impressed with this product. The cost was very low but the quality was still very good. The knife was very sharp. and it keeps its edge with use. One feature that I really liked is that the knife locks in place in the sheath. It can be worn around your neck as a neck tie knife. Or on your boot. very good piece especially for a secondary knife.

Very inexpensive yet quite functional. Great value for the money, as a backup or tertiary blade. Not sturdy enough to function as a primary tool but very lightweight and low profile, so it makes an excellent concealed backup. I bought several. They are so inexpensive that they can nearly be seen as disposable! They'll find work as backup blades in the truck, go bag, and elsewhere.

OMG what a piece of worthless, hunk of the cheapest metal available. You can give this to your 4yr old with no worries of cutting them selves, as the blade looks like they forgot to sharpen one side, They also make it look like the sheath has some kind of hooky thingy on the bottom, so it might hook to your boot lace nope just a whistle?? I mean c'mon man! I generally would eat it and take the loss but this is beyond bad quality...PLEASE do yourself a favor a pass on this one...
