So I've been a die hard L'oreal 'Infallible' user for many years.. over the last year or so I've really noticed that it just seems to have just lost it's staying power. After hardly any time of wear at all it was smearing and smudging. I went on the hunt for a new long wear eye liner and was pretty surprised when this one popped up in my suggestions. It's obviously very, very cheap which didn't give me a whole lot of confidence, but I figured, what do I have to lose at that price?? Low and behold it is far outperforming the L'oreal and honestly any brand I've tried recently!!! It goes on smoothly and easily and doesn't budge all day long, it comes off easily with makeup remover though. So for me, it's checking all the boxes, and at that price, you really can't beat it. Give it a try. You won't regret it

I was pleased to find that this stuff stays put rather well. It goes on creamy enough (could be softer, but hey, low price) and "sets" after about 5-10 seconds. It's obviously designed for making clear lines - you won't get a smoky look with this because it's doesn't smudge well, and that's a good thing! Careful not to go over the same area too heavily; it may flake a little as it doesn't seem to like to stick to itself once it's set. It's definitely water resistant because my eyes ALWAYS water at the corners a little so reluctantly I've learned to stay away from most liquid and pen liners as they always either run or flake off after a few hours. One odd thing I noticed: you might find it easier to do the liner first, then do your shadows. After finishing my shadow then trying to put the liner over it, it took noticeable effort to draw and get it to stick without pulling my skin too much. Might just be me and my cheap frosty shadows though, LOL!

I hope I have the right product here, as the picture isn't very clear and I can't see the full name; this review is for the Wet and Wild gel lip liner in mauve. If so, it's easily the best lip liner I've ever had and I would like to give it a 4.5. Well, maybe it deserves a 5. I just went and put it on and it really is great. The pencil is soft, and I find the formula moisturizing (a good thing, for me) but it doesn't run into fine lines and it doesn't smudge too much. The colour works very well on my pale olive skin and naturally purply lips. It looks very natural, while toning down the purple slightly. The only things I could ask for are a larger shade range (I'd love to have a similar colour just a bit darker, for when I want more of a signature lip, without going for red) and a bit more staying power, as it does fade a bit over time. I just added a picture. I am wearing it with a lighter, warmer mauve lip gloss. It gives good definition without a harsh line. I like the non-sharpening, thicker tip for lips, because I want a natural lip and it makes it easier if I want to fill the whole lip in. So this really ticks all the boxes for me. Actually, writing this, I have practically convinced myself to go back and buy more colours. For the price, you can't go wrong. Edit: I'm adding shots of a hand swatch, the pencil tip and a selfie I just took of my lips with the pencil and the same warm mauve gloss (it's Maybelline, called Silk). Not wearing complexion makeup, and I put this on when I started the review, maybe 15 minutes ago, because I have been running around doing other things and even sipping tea.
