The Golden Girls: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas

My wife and her friend love the Golden Girls. I rolled my eyes extra hard when she got this book for our 2yo girl.I typically do the bedtime stories.This book was well written and pretty funny. There is subtle adult humor and it brings a smile to the readers face. Bravo, it captures the essence of the golden girls, in a children's book.

I got this for a friend who loves the Golden Girls. It's a small hardcover book, about the size of your hand from the wrist to the end of your longest finger. The illustrations are cute and I love the rhyming aspect like the Night Before Christmas. This is based on a Christmas episode of the show. I really liked the book, but the ending was abrupt and I didn't like how it mentioned "flashback episodes" as they're sitting at the table talking. Why would a book mention episodes of the show? Kinda strange ending, but the rest of the book was good.

My mom and I love Golden Girls and for Christmas I needed to get her something she hadn’t asked for but would like. We called them surprise gifts since we usually just get what people ask for. I found this and I liked how it looked and the reviews so I decided to purchase it. When I got it I checked to make sure the pages were okay and the art was good and I liked everything and on Christmas morning my mom opened it and she loved it! Great gift idea for anyone who likes Golden Girls!

Not nearly as big as I thought it would be. Pretty small book, but content is just magnificent. The illustrations are great, and it's a hilarious book.
