Do they make this product in larger than 35oz sizes?

not sure about size- but i would not recommend. love the glass, but snapping on lids is not easy

It's made in China. "Country of origin" on Amazon is a way to deceive customers.

What does 1040DegF mean?? How many degrees are these really oven safe?

Degree Fahrenheit. I doubt you cook anything a 1040 degF, unless you are melting metal but they are microwave and dishwasher-safe. Haven't cooked anything in the oven with them but they are heavy and thick you would need to contact the manufacturer to see how hot they can cook at.

Are these hard to open/close?

No they are easy to open and close. I really like mine. I am trying to get away from so much plastic.
