Q: are these waterproof? Like can I use them after I get out of the pool?

They take a long time to dry and begin to smell-I don't like getting them wet.

Q: Are these true to size? Run small? Large?

I believe they are a size small (somewhat). I got them as a gift for my brother, he is traditionally a size 8/8.5 and I ordered size 9. They fit perfectly. And I think they are very very light contrary to the other comment. But everyone has different feels I guess.

Q: R they good for walking around?

The gel/ memory foam is super comfy!

Q: Recommendation for strictly beach use. Yes or no?

No. My husband wears them everywhere - they are his go to shoe right now. I would imagine if you wear them to the beach and get them wet and sandy they may become beach shoes ;o)
