CamelBak Fourteener 24 Hydration Pack, 100oz

A well-made CamelBak that has suited my festival needs perfectly so far. I tend to overprepare so I needed something bigger than my older Camelbak but smaller than my 70 liter hiking pack and this fit the bill perfectly. The pack sits snug and did not impede my movement through large crowds. This pack comfortably fit my hammock+straps, picnic blanket, a change of clothes, a towel, portable battery, and a number of personal items. As this was a recent purchase I will update this review after putting it through its paces. My only real gripe with this pack so far is that it only has once water bottle pocket on the outside AND the location of that pocket. While I understand this is probably due to the fact that it does have a water reservoir, I frequently use these pockets for sunscreen, bug spray, and other items. As stated before, It's difficult for me to get to the water bottle pocket without completely removing the pack from my back.

I really like this pack a lot, and I'm so glad I bought it! It looks really attractive, and appears to be solid, and well made. Has lots of room and pockets for everything I will need, and holds plenty of water for me to stay hydrated on long hikes. What I like most about this pack is how comfortable it feels on my back. I can tell that after hiking for miles on end this would not be hurting my back at all, and still feel comfortable.The back panel seems like it will provide great ventilation, and help keep my back from getting too hot and sweaty. I really could not be happier with this pack! I feel like I made a solid investment that will provide many years of trouble free use. I can not wait to hit the trails!

i'm a casual hiker. i took this to rocky mountain state park with my two kids this summer. Hydration pack lasted a 6+ mile hike up deer mountain, stayed cold. was able to pack bear spray, camera, binoculars, extra shoes, jackets, and some other stuff i'm probably forgetting. it is comfortable to wear, and has just the right amount of organization for hikes. highly recommend!

I love it. I was unsure about the larger diameter hose that goes with the Crux, but I really like it.

the zipper would not work properly

We loved theses when we went to Banff. They are a little big for shorter hikes but great for long day hikes when weather might change and you need some extra clothing and equipment. not really big enough for through hiking though.

First bladder backpack I have purchased. Very lightweight lots of storage and very comfortable: used it on a 8 hour hike got home and back felt great. Highly recommended.

Lots of flexibility for storage, the straps and padding make itreally comfy to wear all day and a massive reservoir too, love it
