Will a 4cm depth box canvas fit on the ledge of this?

Accepted Answer

The depth of the rest is 2cm. Unless you can anchor your box canvas to the back struts I wouldn't guarantee that it will be secure.

Question 2

Is this quite strong? Thinking of using this for my mirror sign for my wedding but the mirror is quite heavy

It is certainly not flimsy.   We used it for a notice board for a seating plan for a party in the garden.  It is such good value that it is worth buying just to see if you think it is strong enough for your mirror. One thing you should bear in mind is that it arrives in parts so you will have to assemble it yourself.   That was OK once I worked out what was what.   The instructions could be clearer.   Make sure that ALL the screws and wing-nuts are tight.   It did the job perfectly for us!

How does the back go on?

There is a metal plate which fixes to the top crossbar at the back - there should be a mark a tiny indentiation as I recall  in the middle of the cross bar . The top of the back leg fixes into this plate with one of the nuts and bolts. Re the two small wooden pieces - one part is attached to the front centre bar just below the cross bar with a long nut and bolt and the other end is attached to the slot in the back leg with another long nut and bolt. I only had one long nut and bolt in my pack so had to purchase another. Those two small pieces of wood you to decide on the distance you want the back leg to be from the front legs and keeps the frame stable. I would attach photos to show how everything fits together, as that would be far easier than trying to explain,  but cannot see a way of doing so.

Would this hold something the size of A1?
