I saw this and decided to give it a try! Have been using it for few weeks. I can say that I am very pleased with the quality. Not only in the product but also in the quality in the images, video, and audio. Installation was simple. My own mistake and didn’t use the cable that came with it. Had the used past equipment that didn’t support 4 channels, only 3. For those who have previous equipment already, the equipment that came with the cam will need to be utilized. Specifically the long cable that links the front and rear cameras. A simple switched of the cables everything works without a problem. The app is great! Very user friendly. But if you use a VPN that will need to be turned off during use. With the app you can: view all data collected, can view save crop the first 30 sec. And so on or save to your device and do anything. One note with the 4 channels it is more data and will use space on the as card. So if there is an event you’d like to capture, get on the app sooner than later, other wise it will get recorded over. I haven't quite figured out the pix Plate feature yet but i have faith it will do just fine. In my area this time of year, there is a fair amount of my driving is early in the morning or evening. I have to say the quality of images, video is great. I'm no videographer but for the purposes of this device ( extra insurance, if you will) is a great tool. So many settings, do your research, reading and set it up how you like. I have mine in collision mode, which will turn off after about 5 minutes and detect collision, you can have it set on motion but in what I found will stay on Depending on the sensitivity you set it to. Also on this note I have found that depending on the sensitivity it will record anything that stimulates the sensor. For example, hitting a pot hole use of your horn or simply getting into your vehicle. Not all that often but if you are to slam doors could trip the sensor. Not sure if there is a way to mitigate that. But for the intended purpose of this unit I don’t find this minor difficulty a big problem. All the hardware works great! you must use the electrostatic stickers to install the camera mounts. otherwise if you don't and say you have to replace your windshield will be a bit harder to remove. I say this as I didn't on my last one and had to use a razor blade to remove. Also if you are installing the rear camera on a back window with a rear defroster cut down the electrostatic sticker. Hope this helps. I will update in time with any other areas i may have missed as i have only had it in use for a few weeks. I could go on, but if you’ve been want to, give it a try! The customer support is good. A slight delay as they are but will respond as stated on their website/app.

Great quality dashcam
Installation Installing the Vantrue N5S went pretty quickly. As I was upgrading from the N4 I did not need to rerun the power cable. The rear camera cable however, is not interchangeable between the two models. The design of the cameras and mounting components are pretty low profile making it easy to place the cameras discreetly. This is especially important to me as I like a neat installation that maintains a factory-like appearance. The adhesive mounts hold securely, and the included wiring accessories made installation straightforward. For power I use the Vantrue ODB2 hardwire kit for convenience. Video Quality The video quality lives up to what I've come to expect from Vantrue. With the N5S multiple capturing the front, interior, and rear views, I was impressed by how consistent and clear the footage remained across different driving environments. Even during periods of vibration, rough pavement, or highway acceleration, the N5S produced stable footage with readable street signs and license plates at reasonable distances. It also performs well during night time and low light driving conditions. One important consideration is that with 4 channels being recorded the camera does require a high speed SD card rated at U3/A2 or better. I initially used a slower card and would get a warning on the camera screen about slow card speeds. Interface The system’s WiFi connection allows for quick access to video files through the Vantrue app. This is an improvement over the N4, which did not have WiFi. Being able to pull clips directly to my phone without removing the SD card is a major convenience. The app itself functions adequately and provides a convenient option for managing camera settings vs navigating the settings menus directly on the camera. Overall The Vantrue N5s is a great choice for anyone who wants a dependable multi camera dashcam capable of capturing high quality footage from several angles. When paired with a high speed SD card, it performs reliably for documenting traffic incidents or simply recording scenic rides and daily drives. The combination of solid video quality, discreet hardware, and wireless file transfer makes it a system I would confidently purchase again.

Excellent 4 View Dash Cam! Better than simulated 360 degree view cams
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic 4-View Dash Cam – Best Vantrue Yet! I’ve owned several Vantrue cameras, but this model is easily the best. The two-camera system gives four distinct views — front, rear, and interior angles — with much better image quality than the fake 360° cameras I’ve tried before. Setup was quick, and the Vantrue app makes it super easy to grab photos or videos anytime without removing the SD card. Both the video clarity and app connection are solid, day or night. Excellent design, simple install, and reliable performance — this dash cam just works exactly how it should. Highly recommend!

Overall is great, just the sticker need to be better.
Overall, this dash cam was very easy to install. It automatically turns on every time I start my car, which makes it very convenient and worry-free. The image quality is very clear, and it records automatically in the background without any issues. I mainly bought this camera for safety in case of an accident. Fortunately, I haven’t needed to use it for that situation yet, but it gives me peace of mind knowing it’s always recording. The only downside is the adhesive for the rear camera. After about four months of use, the sticker lost its grip and fell off, so I had to purchase my own adhesive to remount it. It’s not perfect, but it does what it’s supposed to do and performs well overall.

Full Coverage, Clarity, and Convenience
I have spent several days using the Vantrue N5S Dash Cam. It offers a comprehensive set of features, and my overall experience with its setup and performance during active driving has been positive. I have not tested the parking mode because I do not have the required hardwiring kit, so this review is limited to its daily driving capabilities. As someone who uses a dash cam primarily for my regular commute, I found that this dash cam has a richer feature set than I typically require. My personal priority is maximum video clarity and simple operation when I need to capture critical footage, like license plates, during an incident. It is a feature-rich camera that provides excellent coverage and performance. For drivers who want advanced functionalities like 360-degree coverage and Wi-Fi connectivity, this model covers those needs. The pros of this dash cam are: The video quality is amazing. The front and rear cameras capture footage that is clear and detailed. I was able to record license plates clearly at a reasonable distance. The clarity holds up consistently, even in challenging lighting situations, such as night driving and overcast conditions. The system uses four cameras for a unique 360-degree view around the vehicle: a front-facing windshield camera, an interior camera, a rear-facing camera, and a second interior camera. This configuration ensures that everything inside and outside the vehicle is captured, providing comprehensive monitoring of the driving environment. The 3.19-inch display is large and responsive, which makes navigating settings and reviewing footage manageable. The display size balances usability with keeping the dashboard area clear. The voice control functionality allows for hands-free commands. I could issue simple commands to lock video clips, capture photos, or turn the display on/off without removing my hands from the steering wheel. This dash cam supports dual-band Wi-Fi. This connects the camera to my smartphone via the Vantrue app, allowing me to download videos and update the firmware directly from my phone. Installation was straightforward. The camera uses an adhesive sticker placed on an electrostatic film, making the mounting system secure without permanently marking the windshield. The entire process felt clean and effective. I use the GPS mount and find it convenient; it would be helpful if this mount remains compatible with future Vantrue models for easier upgrades. As for the cons are: This dash cam is priced higher than some other dash cams that offer a similar core feature set. However, Vantrue frequently offers discounts, sometimes as much as 50% off, which can make the price more reasonable. If you're willing to wait for a sale, this could help offset the initial cost. Although the video quality is generally good at night, the front camera shows some glare issues. Visibility can be slightly reduced when driving directly under very bright streetlights or into the headlights of oncoming traffic. Activating the parking mode feature requires the purchase of a hardwiring kit, which is a separate expense and installation step not included with the camera. My final tought This dash cam provides superior video quality and advanced features, including 360-degree coverage and voice control. While it offers more features than are necessary for casual commuters, its high-definition recording and comprehensive coverage address the needs of drivers seeking to capture footage reliably in various driving scenarios.

Vantrue N5S Dash Cam: A Rideshare and Delivery Driver's New Co-Pilot
As someone who spends hours on the road every day for rideshare and delivery, a dash camera isn't a luxury—it's a critical piece of safety gear. After installing the Vantrue N5S, I honestly can't imagine going back. This is more than just a camera; it's total peace of mind in a sleek, professionally built package. Essential for Rideshare and Delivery The N5S is clearly designed with professional drivers in mind. The four-channel coverage is a game-changer. I get crystal-clear recording of the front road, the rear view, the front cabin (including my passengers), and even the rear cabin. For rideshare, having that interior footage is non-negotiable. It protects me against false claims and gives me documentation of everything that happens inside the vehicle, ensuring passenger safety and accountability. When I’m doing deliveries, the 360-degree view means I’m covered from every angle—whether someone bumps my car while I’m dropping off a package or if there's a dispute over an order drop-off location. Peace of Mind During Accidents While no one wants to be in an accident, the N5S is your most trustworthy, silent witness if the worst happens. The footage quality, especially with the STARVIS 2 sensors, is outstanding, even at night. This clarity means license plates and crucial details are captured accurately. The built-in G-sensor is fantastic—it detects an impact and immediately locks the video file, preventing that vital evidence from being overwritten by the loop recording feature. When dealing with insurance claims or police reports, having irrefutable video evidence that clearly shows fault, speed, and location (thanks to the integrated GPS) is invaluable and can save you thousands of dollars and endless headaches. Professional Quality and Smart Features The professional build quality of the Vantrue N5S is immediately apparent. It feels solid, not cheap, and the Supercapacitor power source gives me confidence that it will withstand the extreme heat and cold fluctuations we face year-round. But the real standout feature for daily use is the 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity. Gone are the days of wrestling with tiny SD cards and having to plug them into a computer just to review a short clip. Now, I can connect my phone to the camera's Wi-Fi network and easily review, download, and share files right through the Vantrue app. This is so quick and convenient, especially when I need to pull footage quickly after an event. The Crucial SD Card Alert Finally, a feature I truly appreciate for its simplicity is the screen turning on to display the "SD card is full" message. Many dash cams simply stop recording when the card fills up and loop recording is disabled, leaving you exposed without any warning. Because I prefer to keep my loop recording turned off so I can manually manage and save every file, this visual alert is absolutely brilliant. It immediately grabs my attention and ensures I know exactly when I need to swap out the card or clear space, guaranteeing I never miss recording a shift because the storage ran out silently. The Vantrue N5S is an essential investment for anyone who relies on their car for income. The combined coverage, quality, and user-friendly features make it an absolute winner.

Easy to install, full 360 dash cam that covers all sides of your car and inside!
I own another Vantrue dash cam, but this one is 1000X better. It has a full 360 view, and the clarity is unbelievable. Not only does it cover the outside of your car for accidents, but it also has an internal cam, so you can monitor kids, or others if you do car pulling. All around, one of the best dash cams I've seen on the market.

Excellent dashcam (N5S) providing 4 views of coverage that is easy to use
The Vantrue N5S is an excellent dash cam that provides 4 points of coverage: 1) in front of the car, 2) behind the car, 3) view of interior from the front windshield, and 4) view of the interior from the rear window. This is definitely a must for people looking for that added level of security for their car or for the added evidence for insurance purposes. I am glad I got this for my car for the ease of use, easily able to access the media and save to your phone or device and the added security of having 4 points of view. Contents: It includes all the necessary items for installing the dash cam. - Front and rear cameras with an extra mounting sticker - Cables to connect the cameras - Charging cable that connects to the cigarette lighter outlet and a short USB-A to USB-C cable - Window films that are used to sitck on your car windows and them affix the camera to them. This helps to easily remove or even adjust placement of the cameras. (plus microfiber cloth and alcohol wipes) - 6 cable clips to help with cable management on the window (if needed) - Small plastic pry bar to help remove panels. I found this helpful, but I have a larger one that i found is more effective. Set up: It may seem challenging, but it is relatively easy. I installed this on a Kia EV6 in which I wired the cables through the trunk panel and hidden within the ceiling liner. You will need the pry bar to hep with this. Alternatively you can use the cable clips to hold the cable on the windows and then hide the cable along the top or bottom of the door frames. Warning, be careful if you snake the cable on top of the door frame to not get in the way of the air bags. It is safer to snake along the bottom of the door frame, but takes more effort. In all I had over 2 feet of excess cable, so it is definitely long enough for probably any car/SUV. Their is a picture desciption for correctly attaching the rear camera to the window. Using the dashcam: First off, you will need to use a SD micro card that has at least the recommended V3 rating. I had an older V1 card and kept getting "slow card" message on the dash cam. Once I put in a V3 card, no more errors. - The dash cam is great and records excellent quality videos and photos in both day and night. Both outside and inside videos look great. - Locking videos - simply puch the orage button on the left side of the dascam. - Sensitivity/locking videos - I find the dashcam a bit sensitivty in its attempt to sense the car is in an accident. It triggers whether I hit a pot hole or bump in the road. But there does not appear to be any consistency for when this happens. While it is better to be safe than sorry (any lose the video if it gets recorded over), you will end up having a lot of locked down media that I would suggest you will need to delete periodically. I have no doubt that if ever I'm in an accident (knock on wood) that the dashcam will lock that video down. - Changing views on monitor are easily cycled by pushing the left button on the bottom of the dashcam. Vantrue app: The app really helps simplify your experience with the dashcam. The app connects to the camera via wifi and enables you to view any camera view live. It also allows you to download any videos or snapsots to your device. This is so much better than having to pull out your SD card and put into your computer to download media.
