IE does it have a UK plug or is 110v-20v for using in USA?** A: UK plug **Q: Can I make tomato ginger onion chilli paste in this** A: I don't think you can. It's advertised as being for dry spices so might leak. Also, it doesn't disassemble and has a very messy chamber design so you would have a nightmare cleaning it and, in the worst instance, injure yourself on the blades. **Q: Is it possible to grind sugar into powdered sugar with this grinder? Or does it get hot so that the sugar would melt and destroy it?** A: I have the original version of this, had it for about 30 years now and I use it to turn granulated sugar into caster sugar when I bake. It will only take a small amount at one go, but it doesn't take many minutes before I have enough for a couple of cakes . I assume you mean icing sugar to top or decorate cakes when you say powdered sugar? I found it slightly gritty when I tried it.
