GTape 1009GR Surface Protection Tape

This tape is awesome. Seals tightly and is waterproof. Can be removed and reused without residue. Tears off the roll (no scissors needed), but is really strong (fiber reinforced). Can be used as expensive painters tape, when it makes sense. Can be used to temporarily hold something and reused (e.g., keeping blueprints or papers rolled up instead of a rubber band). Can be used with Sharpie to label something where the label will get wet. This tape is a must for me. I wish the price point was lower.

I constantly reach for this tape in my shop. Great when you need something to hold strong yet easily removable. I’ve used this in place of masking tape when glueing up small pieces of wood together.Easy tear is great when you need to tape something down into a corner. You get a square edge every time.Use this to protect finished pieces that still need assembly. The list goes on.The only con is it’s pricy and not widely available at the moment.I’d recommend buying a roll and trying it out. Beats masking tape when you need it for anything other than painting.

this stuff is great. tears easily at 90 degrees. Is sticky. doesn't stretch. removes without leaving residue.... what more could you want. This is great for specific purposes. If you use it for those things you wont find anything better.

Amazing product. Nothing out there like it. Used it to protect a freshly polyurethaned floor and it peeled up a couple weeks later like nothing had ever happened.

Really stuck to the card board I laid down to protect my deck while i built the roof.

Been procrastinating about buying this to put on my levels for protection on them and the products. Checked calibration before and after applying on stabila levels. Same results. Consistent thickness with tape and good adhesion
