WiFi Freezer Thermometer Alarm, Remote App Alert with Anti-False, Wireless Smart Temperature Monitor Sensor, 2 Years Free Data Storage Export, Digital Thermometer for Refrigerator Pool Tub

Have used the thermometer as directed for over 3 weeks. The temperature readings on the display are all over the place. -22 degrees to 1 degree all while the freezer has not been opened and is constantly powered. The app history is more reasonable (-8 degrees to 0.4 degrees) but even that is not within the mechanical thermometer's readings which register -2, -1. This is a waste of money. Don't see how some folks say it's fine unless they got lucky with their unit. Will try to return since within the return window but I no longer have the box it came in. Not sure other such wireless thermometers are any better after reading the reviews. It is a good thing to have an alarm when the temperature inside the freezer goes higher than a set level but finding such a device is a challenge. Wish the freezer had a built-in alarm. **** UPDATE **** Amazon, as always was true to their word to allow return of the defective product within the return period. More importantly, I failed to originally post the amount of ice build up around the freezer's lip where the "flat" cable passed under the rubber seal. Obviously air was flowing between the inside and outside of the freezer which caused ice to build up. It's amazing how much ice formed on the lip within 3 weeks. About 1/8" and likely to grow if given time. This is not a good thing to happen on a freezer which requires the cold air to stay away from outside air contact. I purchased a different probe via Amazon which does not require a cable to an outside box. The YoLink Smart Wireless Thermometer. The probe stays within the freezer without the need for an outside wire/cable. All truly wireless. I already have the YoLink hub for the water sensors thus adding this thermometer was easy and fit with the monitoring system. I was not aware YoLink made a freezer/refrigerator sensor. More importantly, the new probe works and for a fraction of this product's price.

Few weeks in. Working perfect. Simple setup. "Hub" and device are separated by a few walls about a very rough estimate of twenty feet. No communication problems or false alarms so far. This is being used to monitor a chest freezer in a garage. Freezer quit unbeknownst to us and after I repaired the freezer, I wanted to be aware of such a failure if or when it should happen again.

Works really nice. With the app i can hook up to it anytime and check on my freezer. Nice peace of mind, and the display on the outside of the freezer makes it nice to just walk by and know that the freezer is still cold.
