Great product
Worked on my mirror. It had glass attached to it and added a little bit more glue. So far, it's holding.

Not for the feint of heart
If you really want to take on doing this yourself, use this adhesive! It was my third attempt and it worked. Other attempts with other adhesives did not, but I cannot necessarily blame the adhesive. Technique is critical. The first was double-sided tape ... I can confidently warn against that one. Instant gratification is rarely lasting. Two bits of advice: 1) clean the windshield glass and the face of the mirror mounting block with acetone after scraping off ANY residue; 2) use a samarium-cobalt magnet on the outside of the windshield to hold the mounting block in place until the adhesive cures. Trust me on this! The photo: s-c magnet holding the block in place as the adhesive sets overnight. The plastic sheet is to keep the magnet from scratching the glass. Adhesive still holding after six months!

It DOES NOT WORK ON GLASS
For review mirror mounting this crap is absolutely worthless. It will not secure anything much less a mirror. Luckily I bought a second product just in case. A tube of Realth Polyurethane Windshield Adhesive and bang! Mirror mount holding great and mirror now mounted

Great stuff!!
Works great! My mirror became loose and eventually popped off during a hot summer day. When I took it to get checked out and potentially fixed, I was told I would need to replace the entire windshield in order to get the mirror put back on, due to a couple of smaller cracks near the edges of the windshield. That was not in my budget, nor did I have the time for it. This adhesive solved my problem like a charm! Just be sure to follow the instructions and do it when it is not too hot/cold. It’s been a few months since I put my mirror back up, and I’ve had ZERO issues! Saved me about $1500. :) :) :)

Pegamento confiable
Hace bien su trabajo, solo una observación , solo funciona en la combinación metal-vidrio, ninguna otra

Works as advertised. Saved many $$ by DIY.
Worked as advertised. Make sure to remove old glue from glass and metal plate. Fine grit sandpaper is good if hard to remove. I recommend a final clean of both surfaces with isopropyl alcohol. When dry, wipe both surfaces with the supplied activator towelette a few times. Make sure all surfaces are well covered, as without the activator liquid the Adhesive glue will not bond. Let it dry. Apply 1 drop of glue in centre ( i added an extra 1/2 drop about 1cm apart to ensure coverage of larger part of button). Do not use an excessive amount of glue. Checking correct orientation of "button" press and hold the button on the windscreen for 2 mins. I waited 3 min for good measure. Although it is good to go after 1 hr, I waited 24hrs to achieve maximum cure time before attaching the mirror to the button. Good to go!!
