Great shape and size
I have MANY Camelback water bottles. Plastic, stainless, small, large, numerous styles. We are a bring your own water-obsessed family and have a bottle on us at all times. I have several of the wider .750L bottles, but thought I'd give this one a shot to try the different profile. It has definitely become my preferred bottle. The color makes it easy to spot and identify (it's yellow) and the slimmer design fits into all of our car cup holders. The wider bottles did not fit in my husbands car holders.I will say that the bite valve was a little funky in the beginning. If the cap was screwed on very tightly the water wouldn't suck through. It seems to have worked itself out, but I know that if I have problems with it that Camelback will send a new bite valve or lid. This has been my experience in the past and i have always been very happy with their customer service.

Redesigned, now fits better in cup holders.
Bought for the wife, who always has her old one around and takes it with her everywhere to stay hydrated. This one is a little taller and skinnier than the old design, which makes it slightly more likely to tip over, but now it fits into more of our various cup holders. It's much closer to the size of a soda can than previously. The straw is also a bit longer, so be warned that the straw to this version, if you put it into the old version (we have several and we mix/match the tops, straws, etc) will be flat against the bottom of the shorter bottle and will vacuum-lock so you cant drink. But its a great bottle and keeps stuff cold for a while.

I love these water bottles and had the plastic one for ...
I love these water bottles and had the plastic one for a long time. There is issues with suction on this model, I'm guessing because of its insulation. I have to unscrew the lid to suck water properly, otherwise a vaccume is created. I also have had leaked in my purse from the lid. I'm not sure if this was just a defective product that I got because the same bottle in plastic are wonderful and don't have these issues. Otherwise the insulation keeps things cold when it doesn't spill and it looks nice but functionally flaud unfortunately.

Not for Sports
I should have listened to the other reviews. I had a CamelBak waterbottle that I loved, so I bought this one to replace it. However, the mouthpiece is about half the size of the older bottle, so you can't even get a sip at a time out of it. I was dying for water in my spin class and it took so long just to get a mouthfull of water. If you aren't working out it isn't a problem, but this really isn't for sports. On the plus side, the bottle looks great and fits in the cupholder in my car, which my last bottle didn't. It is also lightweight and easy to carry and operate with one hand.

Very good for cyclists, I suppose.
I needed a water bottle for work, so I did a search trying to find a reliable large sized bottle that would last for years on end. I found this bottle on the CamelBak website, and the cheapest price for this particular model was found here on Amazon. It's stainless steel and it holds 700ml of liquid. It's hand wash only, not suitable for hot liquids, and not good for the microwave. All of these things are fine with me. The only thing you should be prepared for is that this thing sweats (condensation) all over the place. It's not ideal for the work area because of this.Otherwise, this is a great bottle. Excellent for cyclists, sturdy construction and no leaks (other than the condensation). Not recommended solely for work use. There's a different bottle by CamelBak, which does not sweat, but only holds 500ml. As I have to walk to a very distant water refill spot, I need that extra 200ml. All in all, I still feel that this was a good purchase. The quality is excellent, and there's a lifetime guarantee on the bottle as well.

Significant leaking from lid after a few short weeks of use
I use this water bottle quite frequently -- refilling it a few times a day. It worked okay for the first couple weeks, but then it started leaking from around the lid pretty significantly, leaving our sofa with more than one waterstain and soaking the inside of my backpack and its contents more than once. Since then, I've stopped filling it as full, which helped somewhat, but the leaking still hasn't gone away. The seal around the screw top just seems to be defective. It's probably just a problem with this particular water bottle. But unfortunately, I won't ever know, because I signed on to return it two days after the return window had expired. :-/ And I'm not going to invest in another one when this one has been such a disappointment. (The good news is, the company I work for just distributed stainless steel company water bottles to all employees upon the unveiling of the new company logo. So I guess I'll just use that one instead!)One other thing: If you're looking to drink a significant amount of water at once, this water bottle is not the one for you. Sure, the straw lets plenty of water through for, well, a straw -- but you're not going to be doing any guzzling with this. It is nice to be able to drink from the bottle without having to squeeze or tip it though. Just depends what you're looking for.

Great purchase!
Great size water bottle. Fits perfectly in my handbag.Takes a bit to get used to the bite and suck action at first, but great once you get the hang of it.I have not had any issues of leakages as yet. Small tip - to get rid of excess water in the bite part of the mouth piece after drinking, simply bit down again once to allow air in the mouth piece then fold back. That way there is no excess water sitting in the mouth piece which may cause a small amount of leakage. Also love the finger holder at the top.Very happy with my purchase.

Perfect!
I purchased this CamelBak Eddy to replace the original larger plastic CamelBak I have had for 2 or 3 years because it was too large to fit in the cup holder in my car. My new CamelBak Eddy is slimmer, it is easy for my smaller hands to grip, and it fits perfectly in the cup holder in my car. I drink a lot of water during the day, and the CamelBak Eddy is convenient to always have with me whether I am at home or on the go. I love it!
