This drone is very well designed and packaged. After downloading the application to my phone and charging the battery (drone and adding batteries to the controller) it was ready to go. There are a number of great YouTube videos that make it very easy to do initial set up in configuration and preparing to fly. I connected to the drone to the phone application, set everything to beginner mode, and a few other very simple settings hit the start button and launch button and it was off into the sky. The GPS setting on the controller makes it very easy to keep track of the drone and to fly it at a low, initial level, take photographs, pan around, go up and down and so on and so forth. One of the most impressive aspects of the drone is how stable it is even in moderate winds. The drone never struggled to hold its position, and even when rising or dropping in elevation by using the controller, it was very stable, and this was evidenced by the quality of the video streaming back to the phone. When it came time to land, I simply pressed the return to home button, the drone immediately rose to the pre-set height ( to clear trees in the area) and navigated to within 1 foot of its original launching point. Very impressive! The video quality is absolutely 4K and the photos are also very high resolution. Super pleased. When finished with the drone, it’s very easy to fold up the arms and propellers and the controller and put it back into the really nice carrying case that comes with the drone from the company. The battery held power in the drone for well over 20 minutes and plenty of reserve power left (remembering that when it gets too low, the drone will automatically return to home and then shut down before depleting the battery power). The drone battery takes a bit of time to charge but not excessive. Bottom line, this is a great first drone, and although others may recommend starting out with something a bit more rudimentary, this was a breeze to fly for somebody who would never flown a drone before. 5 Stars!

I got this product as part of a lightning deal so I paid only $209.00 for this latest version of the drone. I read some reviews and everyone seems to think that this is a solid purchase and solid drone model. I received the drone and after registering it with the FAA and getting a suitable location to fly from using the B4UFLY app I took it up for the maiden flight. I have flown various drones including a non-GPS-enabled sport drone and I have to say the experience was awesome. The drone is very responsive. It is easy to set up and go through the calibration process for the initial flight. I used it in Beginner mode just till I got acclimated to the distances and heights for Return to Home at Beginner. Then I started to play with extending the ranges. I have a video that I took that goes with the image of a school close by the park I took off from. I would totally recommend this drone for someone that is looking to make the jump to a quality GPS-enabled drone with a gimble as the drone does take some very smooth video. Being the first flight I didn't push it to the limits yet but I can see already that this is one I am going to have a lot of fun with I would highly recommend this HS720G to anyone. It even comes in a cool carrying case to transport the drone, controller, spare props, battery and I purchased a landing pad which also fits in the case. My next purchase will be an additional battery so I can fly for extended periods but 20-26 on a single battery is not bad at all.

BLUF: Android users with capture issues. Press home and exit drone view, press capture button on controller to take a picture or video to SD card on drone. A workaround until the issue is resolved. Holy Stone support is very responsive and has been working with me on the details. I purchased this model for myself and the HS210F for my boys. Both models follow identical flight configurations so flight control from one model to another is seamless. Very detailed instructions and super responsive drones. I had one session with the HS720G so far and bombed it three times into bushes and a tree, at about 20' into the air, landing on concrete. This was mainly due to operator error and really not taking wind and speed into consideration as a net new pilot. But the HS720G is durable and no issues with continued flight. This drone is fast and super responsive, stable in moderate winds and survived my over enthusiasm to fly! Maybe I'll try the beginner mode on my next run :-) As an Android user, Pixel 6, I had a hard time capturing pictures or video. I could connect to the drone and view the live feed, but if I pressed the photo button on the controller or through the App, a prompt regarding local storage access pops up but the app doesn't actually make a request for storage. Totally not needed because an SD card is loaded into the drone so I tried disconnecting the live view using the home button on the OpheliaFly app, press the capture button on the controller and naturally it began recording pictures and video on the drone. Problem Solved! sort of :-) Holy Stone support has been super responsive on their live chat and super knowledgeable about the drone operation, troubleshooting etc. Despite the hiccup with the app and capturing, I'm super impressed by their support and the overall quality of the products! Really superb and worth the investment.

I've flown drones for MANY MANY YEARS, here is what I have to say for anyone considering a HS720G PROS: - Excellent Battery life, lasts me between 21-23 minutes depending on flight conditions like wind and altitude. (Enough to film my grandma walking to school :)) - like LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOOSE DRONE, has all the features found on higher end drones such as return to home, automatic landing button as well as automatically returning if controller disconnects/battery dies. (Trust me its a great feeling to take off without any doubt of your drone shooting off into the sky! And it will return to you if it somehow does) - Phone holder for controller is a little gimmicky, but suits most of my larger phones in their cases - The app is great for beginners with plenty of tutorials for the common interface. The controller telemetry is quite helpful as well. App lets me set a height limit to suit flying laws (Tells you range, battery life, number of satellites/GPS Strength, etc.) - The Gimbal gives extremely stable footage compared to other drones - Stable flight with accurate GPS, even has optical flow for indoors where there isn't as much GPS strength. - The case it comes in is truly premium to the touch. Unlike some other drones, this one has everything you need to takeoff in one place making it neat for travel/camping with friends CONS: - The video feed is great at up to 200-300 meters, then starts cutting out, my solution is to just use a Micro SD card (located on side of drone) for higher quality footage - Comes with one battery, will need to purchase more on amazon for double the fun! - Battery takes a little long to charge, but again it lasts for over 20 minutes and you can always buy more - The gimbal on the HS720G is 2-axis, meaning it doesn't insulate the 3rd axis (yaw) movement with the drone. - I'm sure lots of people would be willing to pay a slightly higher price to add the obstacle avoidance feature, one that would save me countless heartbreaks of needing to refit the spare propellors (Supplied with the drone) - I wish they sold additional accessories specifically for this drone such as remote release payload (obviously for really light objects), extendable landing gears, UV/ND Filters for different environmental lighting conditions, etc Otherwise, the drone is pretty rugged and has great capabilities. Despite lacking some of those extra features from a more professional standpoint, I would absolutely recommend it for those wanting to get started with drone photography, videography, or even just improving their drone movement dynamics. ...From a beginners/Intermediate standpoint, this is THE MOST FUN DRONE you'll ever have with the low irrefutable price its sold at. As a first-time drone user, I recently had the chance to explore the Holy Stone HS720G, and I must say, it left quite an impression. It has a user friendly setup both with the quick user guide and the controller instruction card, I was ready in minutes to fly it. During my maiden flight the drone was zippy, however, you can flip the rear switch to slow it down or speed it back up. The camera has 4k video and photos which does an ok job for what I want it for. GPS positioning is handy if you want it to return to you or keep a track of where you crashed. I like the follow mode and poi modes for what I need it for. These are generally only on the more expensive models. Battery life is up to 26 mins depending on wind conditions. In summary, the Holy Stone HS720G strikes a balance between affordability and functionality. It's an ideal companion for beginners who want to learn the ropes before venturing into more advanced drone territory. Update: After owning the drone for several weeks, I reached out to Holy Stone support due to a technical issue with the controller. Holy Stone were happy to replace the controller at no cost. They followed up to ensure everything was working smoothly. Their dedication and expertise saved me a lot of frustration. Highly recommend!

This drone does not work as advertised and is just a garbage product. When it goes rogue and wont respond when flying, i warn you dont get close to this thing as it could take your eye out! When the drone hits an obsticle of crashes the props just keep spinning and i physically had to pick it up while operating to remove the battery to turn it off.

Easy setup, very straight forward. Haven't used it much yet but seems stable and does as advertised. Image stabilisation is great and good image quality. Feature packed.
