I didn’t realise that when I ordered one of these (the one it’s described as ‘multicoloured’) that I wouldn’t be receiving the one that was pictured, although this was more me not reading the description correctly. So, having ordered two more for the kids, I’m guessing they are just picked at random. Not that this has been a problem as I have received three different versions. The first was a plush fuzzy brown bear with lots of teeth and wide human eyes called ‘Munch’ I think. The second was the one that is pictures that has different coloured buttons for eyes and the third was a bat type creature with bright green button eyes. Personally, back in Eighties, when I was 9 I think these would have given me night terrors and damp sheets but I guess times change and my kids love these things. Also if you do choose this ‘picked at random’ option then there’s the risk of receiving two the same but I think it adds to the fun of it and I know enough people that I could always ‘regift’ them too should this happen. They seem to be a more creepy version of the ‘Ugly Dolls’ range but I think they stand allow in their own right. They are reasonably priced, well packaged and made and you also have the chance of finding one of the highly collectible golden, um, bum buttons or have one with glowing eyes and teeth which seem to go for silly money on certain auction sites. Highly recommended for children who are into weird stuff. We’ve come a long way since the Care Bears....
