Alles aus unseren drei großen Hochbeeten kommt rein, der grobe Kompostierprozess läuft im Sommer hervorragend. Großer Pluspunkt: Die leichte Handhabung, auch voll lässt er sich problemlos drehen – alle paar Tage zum Mischen empfohlen. Keine Schnecken, da bodenlos positioniert. Ein Stern Abzug: Abplatzende schwarze Beschichtung beim Auspacken an den Metallbeinen birgt Rostgefahr.

We grabbed this compost bin to replace a dilapidated ground-sitting model that'd seen its last days. So far, I'm completely pleased, and definitely like a few features that this offers compared to other more basic options. The overall construction of this is solid...thick plastic panels, screwed together at regular intervals, and a well-sized tubular steel base that keeps it chest-height and off the ground. Assembly was easy but time-consuming, as there are quite a few little screws and nuts and such. No worries, though...a small cordless screwdriver (with a magnetic bit) made decent work of it all. Functionally, I love the idea of the two internal compartments. This idea lets one side load up and continue composting while you begin to fill the other. I also love the ease of turning the pile simply by rotating the entire drum. The drum can be a bit cumbersome to turn once it's a bit heavy, but it also doesn't have a handle to break, and has plenty of hand-holds in its design...grab on, give it a whirl, and let it ride. The access doors are also easy to slide open and shut, and provide decent access to dump your veggie scraps into the bin. The unit is doing a great job so far with our organic waste, and we're getting close to our first few gallons of fresh, tasty compost to be ready. Altogether, I'm quite pleased, and look forward to this unit lasting for a number of years to come.

Looks good, easy enough to assemble, rotates fine and seems sturdy. , have 1 side full but it will be a few weeks before I can comment on the results of composting. Good value for money.
