Precisely store, measure and dispense coffee beans or grounds at home or on the go with the OXO Outdoor Coffee Storage Container. Store whole coffee beans or grounds in this airtight container. Prevents your coffee from degrading due to light, moisture or oxygen. One-way airtight seal keeps coffee fresh and lets out CO2. This container is optimized to pour straight from the container - pour your coffee beans or grounds directly into your coffee grinder or brewing device. No spoon needed The container holds up to 8 ounces of whole coffee beans. Or grind your coffee before you go on a trip (even if it's just in the office) for free coffee when you're away from home. Reduce food waste and keep your coffee fresh longer by storing it in this airtight container. No more forgetting that half-worn bag of coffee grounds on the back of the cabinet. The lid locks into place for storage and transport and disassembles completely for easy cleaning. The spout is optimized for effortless pouring. As well as being the perfect container to store all of your coffee beans or coffee grounds, you can also use this container to store other foods like flour, sugar or nuts. BPA free, dishwasher safe. Review: Excellent Camping Companion - OXO Quality and Usability - To date, OXO utensils have not disappointed. This is no exception. I was getting tired of keeping small coffee bean bags to take camping and dealing with their challenges (small opening for scoop, bag tips over). This container is solid and thick like Nalgene bottles and the top is easy to open, but secure. The spout opening pours beans out easily, even into my AeroPress scoop, so spilage will be reduced or eliminated. I have not tried it for ground coffee, but I expect the experience would be similar. This is an excellent RV camping coffee companion rounding out my Mulli rechargable grinder and AeroPress. Review: Love the percolate grounds - Great for ground percolate coffee. 8 Oz. Of grounds. Good for 3-4 days. Neat pressure relied. Well built to handle the rigors of backpacking too!

A Great Way to Camp With Coffee!
I purchased the OXO Outdoor Coffee Storage Container for camping. I had been using a zipper-type bag and was looking for a more durable, permanent solution. I don't know how I happened upon this, but I'm glad I did! I read the reviews, and it sounded like it would fit my needs perfectly. I purchased it and have taken it out on one camping trip so far. It functioned as advertised. I was able to take a sufficient amount of ground coffee for my pour over system. In fact, it should carry enough to handle my caffeine needs and my wife's needs for our two-night camping trip coming up this weekend. While carrying a lot of ground coffee, it is still small enough to fit inside my coffee kit (a converted tool box). I like that the container seals very well and is airtight. This kept my coffee tasting like it had just gone through the grinder, even though it had been packed about 48 hours earlier. It is nice to have fresh coffee without having to bring a grinder with me! Like all of my OXO products, this feels like it is made of quality materials and will last me for many years. When I think about all of the bags I have used to carry my coffee, having this will ultimately pay for itself pretty quickly...I feel like I've gotten good value for what I paid for it. I have been very pleased with my OXO Outdoor Coffee Storage Container so far, and I have no reason to believe that it will let me down!

Solid little travel container for coffee beans
I use this OXO container mainly for bringing whole beans (typically "gourmet" grocery store coffee; moved away from specialty with all the recent price hikes) with me when I travel to places I want to make coffee - mostly to work. I used to reuse a 14 oz coffee bag from my local roaster, which honestly worked fine. But this container definitely feels like a step up - more of a “luxury” item for me, not something I needed. Size-wise, it’s about a slightly bigger mug. It fits easily in my backpack (Timbuk2 Q Pack 2014), and I haven’t had any issues with it. I just pour out 15 g of beans into the grounds catch cup of my hand coffee grinder (1Zpresso JX Pro 2022), then load the grinder. The OXO pours pretty easily into the grounds catch cup, which is relatively small - it's not hard to pour from, pretty smooth & doesn't "chug out", but I do try to be careful since I’m measuring out a small amount and don’t want to dump too much by accident. The OXO's lid stays on securely, so I’m not worried about it falling off. As for freshness, I don’t have any methodical way of testing that, but I don’t smell the beans when it’s closed, and when I open it, I do smell them, so I’m taking that as a good sign. Cleaning it is easy. I picked this mostly because it’s not made of materials that would react with coffee or easily break. It’s not super high-end feeling, and after just hand washing it once before my first use (with a soft sponge), the inside got a little scuffed. Doesn’t bother me personally, but it might if you’re particular about that sort of thing. Overall, it’s a solid option if you want something better than a bag for carrying beans. Not essential, but I like it.

A tank!
Keeps coffee fresh and dry on every camping trip. Does the job and then some. Sure beats a zip lock bag that get ripped or torn. This thing is a tank and will make your morning coffee much more enjoyable.
