I bought this worm tea for organic plant food. I start tomato and other vegetable seeds indoors before planting outside. This year, damping off disease was killing all my seeds and seedlings. Damping off disease is some kind of moldy fungussy thing that can grow on top of plant starter mix or soil. I tried everything to kill it: cinnamon, H2O2, white vinegar, tea trea oil, sunlight, and fans blowing. Nothing made any difference. Then I bought this worm tea in the middle of 3 months straight of triple digit heat in Texas. I was pretty upset that (as with all Amazon deliveries in summer) the bottle arrived thoroughly hot, all the way through. It had been cooking for hours in the truck, and the instructions on the bottle say to keep it cool. I immediately put it in the fridge, and have been storing it in the fridge ever since. After it cooled I got a measuring cup of pure water, added 1 tsp of worm tea, poured it on my soil that had damping off disease -- and WHOA! It instantly killed the crud, and the plant starter mix suddenly looked AS GOOD AS NEW. Thanks to this worm tea (even heated during shipping) I am finally able to start plants from seed again. The damping off disease kept coming back every couple days, but I just keep watering with 1 tsp of worm tea mixed into 1 cup of pure water, and killing it off. I'm including the photo I took when the first application of worm tea surprised me. The 6 pack of cells on the right got worm tea, plus the top right cell on the left 6 pack. You can see the difference that I saw as soon as I poured the tea. It was instantaneous. (The copper wrapped around twigs is electroculture, btw.) Ten days later I planted those same tomato sprouts into bigger containers, and you can see in my other photo how disease-free and beautiful the soil is -- all thanks to worm tea.

I’ve used this product for two seasons now on my tomato plants and other vegetables. What an amazing difference it made on the growth and production of my vegetables. However, it must be used correctly. I was told by someone you must pour the solution outside of the root ball make a circle on the outside of the plant, about 5 to 6 inches from the stock the roots will grow to that solution and produce more. If you pour it directly onto the root ball, the roots will grow into a ball and not produce using this way. I’ve had an amazing result. It helps the roots grow out and spread. I hope everyone has as much luck as I did with this. I referred it to several people and they all say the same thing does a great job but must be used the way I explained I put it on every night when watering my plants. After I water with the mixture around the inside of the container I then water the plants directly with plain water. Do not use it in direct sunlight or heat just like you wouldn’t water your plants. Good luck everyone.

I used to make my own worm casting tea but then I discovered this product. Very convenient and works great but for some reason it has a strong, unpleasant smell. I never encountered that when I was making my own so I may try a different brand next time. Plants are all doing very well.

Amazing product. My flowers have maintained their blooms for over a month now. There’s an odd smell, but I really don’t care considering how well this product works. It’s great price & I’d definitely recommend.
