Protocol Acacia Powder - Prebiotic for Gut Health - 12 Oz

I have been dealing with intestinal problems for a few years now and my doctor recommended that I try acacia fiber rather than the fiber supplement I had been using. I have been using Protocol for a little over a month, and it seems to work differently than my previous fiber supplement and has an added and unexpected benefit of weight loss. I lost 5 pounds the first month. Even though you can take it in plain water, I prefer dissolving it in juice. I will continue using it for a while in order to see the long term results, but so far am pleased with how it has improved my digestive issues. The only downside so far as been an increase of gas. I’m hoping my system will adjust over the next couple of months.

My GI recommended this product. He is internationally trained. I have used it as needed, off and on, for about a year. It has helped me achieve good health. I appreciate it is a natural product and I don't worry about poisoning my body with synthetic medication. I mix it with water in the mornings. The flavor is not exciting. At one point in time, when on a vacation, I forgot to bring this with me. I managed to find an acacia mix in a health food store, a flavored version, different brand. It was far more tasty but not a normal natural sweetness, more like a diet soda sweetener. I'll stick with this product!

Eight months on Keto had this moving slowly for me. Adding this to water and chugging it down twice a day fixed the issue.It has an earthy/tea type taste to it. I sometimes just they're it in my blender bottle with my morning keto smoothie and it mixes in well.I recommend stirring it into room temp water and letting it sit for 30 minutes before consuming. Otherwise it is a bit clumpy and cloudy.

Product looks correct. I use for GI health.

This product is soluable fiber necessary for my intestinal health.

Use this and I am very happy with the product.
