Works great but my phone(IPhone X) can get hot after like 20 minutes.

Got this as a wireless charger for my nightstand to charge overnight. I put in on top of the square marble base of my bedside lamp and the silver and white matches perfectly. I actually don't have a phone equipped with wireless charging yet, but I will be getting one soon (looking at a Google Pixel 6). I just wanted to get my wireless charging infrastructure set up so I can use it right away when I do get the new phone. I do have a pair of Nothing Ear 1 wireless earbuds that can charge wirelessly, and I have been using this charger for those, and it seems to charge them at the max rate just fine. I also like that the blue LED indicator turns off after a minute or so even when charging, which makes it perfect for bedside use. It uses micro USB, which is fine because it's a permanent device in my case, but now adays it's a nice convenience to have USB C. Micro USB is plenty to supply the 10 watts max that this charger can put out and that most devices can handle as long as you plug it into a USB charger can can output enough current, so there's no impeded function anyway. Over all, I'm happy with it. I will use it long term with my wireless charging phone when I get it and I update this review if for some reason I have any kind of issue charging that.

We have subsequently bought a similar item for about half the price. This has a USB micro connection and the other one has USB-C. This item is extremely picky about orientation of the phone laying on it to charge and usually takes several tries. The other works perfectly every time. This one has a tiny little LED that illuminates when it is working, the other one has a ring around the top that lights up to indicate that it is charging correctly and once illuminated it then extinguishes. Look for my review on the better one and skip this one.

It's a nice looking product, and it charges just fine most of the time, but if it is in the "blinking" mode where it detects something is wrong and it's not charging, instead of shutting itself off like I think it should for safety, it get very hot and overheats, even with nothing on it. I've gotten this product twice -- once as an original, another time as a replacement, and both have this issue. That's why I think there is a bit of a flaw with the design & safety.

Bought this for an 11Pro iPhone as a bedside charger. Phone just rests on top to fully charge. Important to make sure that the charging ICON appears (lightning bolt) because this device does not 'grab' the phone and hold it in place ... in other words, it is not magnetic. (My 11Pro phone does not have a magnet, so I liked this charger better than the smaller circular iPhone charger which is magnetic. This charger is a larger diameter circle and easier to get the phone in correct spot to charge.) Great price and works well.
