The best leash Ive ever owned. Ceasar Millan is amazing and e has helped me tremendously with our dogs.

Just opened the package and took my lungey- pulley barky 10 yr old Peekapoo rescue for a walk. We are getting used to this- instant feedback for the doggo. Keep the loop up just under the ears. give the correction, and release. Make sure that there is a few finger widths between the loop and the dog’s neck. Do give instant praise with your marker word (mine is yes) for instant praise. Keep dog on your left. Do keep dog’s shoulders in line, not ahead of your leg. Be consistent! BE CONSISTENT with your expectations, rewards, praise. Otherwise the problem is the human- you. I like that this product is 4’, lovely blue color, and has a touch of stretch.

Bought this to be able to get my 6 year old stubborn pit bull into the tub for bath time. It works beautifully. It is soft enough not to irritate her skin but durable enough she can't break it or pull it off. Haven't tried it outside but I say it's excellent and the right size, color, and pretty thick for a doggy lead rope. It does have some reflective pieces but not large enough to be the only reflectors for your dog or you.

The leash doesn’t stay in place and does not work for me to train my shepherd/lab mix dog. If it stayed in place where it’s supposed to, then it would work. To use this you have to walk super slow to train and my dog is a runner!

I read lots of reviews before purchasing and was very torn between this leash and another popular brand that was the standard 6ft. One negative review for this leash said it was stretchy. I finally went for it and I’m so glad I did! The 4ft leash is perfect for all standard size large dogs (goldens, labs, shepherds, and pit bull mixes) and medium/small dogs. My golden retriever is 9 months old and almost fully grown at 50 lbs. I used to hate walking him in the mornings when he has the most energy and all the squirrels and bikers are out. This leash helped with pulling on the very first day! It gives more “feedback” when my dog pulls so he stops much quicker than with a standard leash. I also appreciate the slight stretch in the leash. It doesn’t dig into my wrist in the moments when my dog does lunge for a squirrel. It’s uncomfortable enough for him that he stops pulling, but the slight stretch makes it seemingly more comfortable for him too. My only complaint is that there isn’t a metal ring near the handle so I can clip on a poop bag holder. I looped one around the handle but I wish it were just below the handle. Not a big deal though.

This is everything I hoped it would be. Very high quality, sturdy, soft and smooth in your hand, with a slight give. If you use the techniques Cesar recommends this works like a charm. I have previously ordered more expensive leashes that looked similar to this, but upon arrival they were thick, unyielding, and just bulky. This coils nicely in your hand and if I keep myself in a calm, assertive mindset my dogs follow easily. I have seen a lot of questions here about what the extra black metal loop is for. I saw Cesar use this lead to loop over the dogs nose (in his new show), and although he didn’t explain it, nor can I find any videos or pictures about this feature, I believe that’s what it is for. I included some pictures of how to do it. I’m not sure if we will need this feature but it’s nice to know I have that option. It basically turns the lead into one of those “gentle leaders” that controls their head more. I may need it for my other dog (shown in the background) who is very reactive to wildlife on our walks. It does make the leash much shorter obviously. This is the “one size fits most” option, but I also just ordered the “large” size as well, thinking a longer option might be nice for walking both of my dogs on my left side. I wasn’t able to find the length of the “large” option, so I will update when it arrives. If you are familiar with Cesar’s techniques, and know how to make quick corrections and have (or want) your dog to follow you, this is a great tool. It takes practice and patience, but my dogs are no longer strangling themselves on walks, and seem much happier. I hope this is helpful!!
