Works fine, including recharging.

Battery for Digital Camera!
It works very well for my Sony hdr-cx240 camera. The price was very reasonable for having an extra battery to film some videos.

Wasabi batteries are great
I use Wasabi products since 2014, when I had a GoPro 3. Since then, I bought their batteries for my different cameras. Highly recommend! Value is great and it works as the ones coming with product.

As advertised, reliable, durable — a good bargain.
I bought this because I needed to replace the original batteries now on my Sony DSC-HX400 V 50x zoom DSLR, a camera that gets a lot of off and on with concurrent lens extensions and contractions. The Wasabi for Sony has proved to be just as advertised, charges rapidly, holds charges in storage, lasts a long time on a charge when I’m doing a lot of photography with ons and offs with an electronic extension zoom camera. In short, a good bargain over the far more expensive original batteries.

Great spare battery pack
It works well for an OEM battery. The battery life is less than the original Sony brand lithium ion battery, but it's also significantly cheaper, so I have no complaints.

A significant saving form the Sony supplied units.
I love Wasabi, I really do. For about half the price you get about 90% of the use. I find that an excellent trade off. I have never had any care and feeding issues with these batteries. The Sony camera is more than happy to draw power from the battery and has no other glitches. I've also used other Wasabi units on accessories with no issues. The batteries charge up well enough and hold a charge well too. If you own a Sony, you know how they are with batteries, the camera just devours them, thus you have to always have two extra batteries on hand at all times. The Wasabi batteries make that issue a little less painful and lot less costly.

Cheap is not always better
Oh sure these Wasabi batteries cost much less than the Sony OEM but they don't last. I "had" bought three of these batteries - 2 about a year and a half ago, one about two years ago (for the SONY RX100 MIII). As of today (8/07/17) they are basically worthless. None of the three take a full charge (using the Wasabi battery charger) and they run down so fast I am lucky to get 12-15 shots off before they expire. (btw- I always shoot my pictures at the highest resolution and I usually shoot RAW.) I will say, however, the Sony RX100's are notorious for "eating up" battery power. If I were to make a recommendation (and alternative to the Sony OEM batteries) it would the STK Sterling Tech batteries. I have had very good luck using their batteries (LP-E6 for the Canon EOS 7d and NB-2HL for the Canon Rebel XT). These are quality built, powerful, continue to take full charges and long lasting...............and the price is right! Why amazon doesn't seem to carry STK products any longer is unexplained but as I say, I have always had great success using SDK Sterling Tech batteries. Being on the amazon site, I cannot provide a link to STK Sterling Tech. Note: When providing reviews, I always try to be specific as to product(s), length of usage, durability, cost and as many factors (albeit, minus "technical data) as I can think of. You, the consumer, can take this advice and/or review or leave it - it's up to you all.

Wasabi batteries are the best of the aftermarket battery bunch. All of them that I have used (Fuji, Sony and Olympus cameras) deliver about 80% of the stamina of the original batteries. I would be careful with their chargers, though, as they often don't charge batteries to their full capacity. This can damage the batteries in the long run. The reason I don't give four stars is simple the fact that Wasabi batteries are relatively expensive when bought as singles compared to the two-battery and charger combo. This makes no sense.

The white label was applied backwards so the large green chevron indicating how to install in charger was on the wrong side. Result: fits into Sony charger but won't charge. Have to insert "backwards" relative to chevron then will charge OK, other than that works as advertised. -1* for the label defect.
