I learned to type on an old large heavy manual typewriter. I bypassed the age of golfball typewriter stage and all electric typewriters cos I really hated those. The electronic keyboard was my next and current favourite. Over the years, I've looked back on my old portable manual typewriter and have wished for a halfway keyboard. There are plenty of very exclusive expensive ones on the market, but then I found this one. It Is Perfect. I love the shallow round dip in the light soft keys that feel smooth and good quality to the touch. I love that satisfying soft click of the keys as they strike. I love the electronic carriage return lever, the wheels at the side that when you turn them they actually scroll up n down your page. And that it can pair up to both android tablet and desktop PC.. There's an extra thrill of the back light on the keys that can be changed out if you want to, I have a white and gold trim keyboard. It's light weight, well made, smart and elegant. No idea yet on the battery life but easy and quick to charge when needed. To end, I'm hugely impressed and highly recommend.

Also helped with how to do the back lighting 🥲 it’s just something I missed reading personally. — Original Listen I really love this thing, I do. But how is it a £100 keyboard has the letters already starting to fade after only 1 week of use? The caps key, A, S, D, E keys along with a few others are already starting to look faded in comparison to Tab key or number keys that haven’t been used. I’m really upset by this not just for the price I paid, but I’m paranoid it’s just going to get worse til the lettering on the keys fade completely, and I have to fork out for another keyboard. Also does anybody know how to shut off the background lighting? I adore the lighting, but it would be good to know for instances to save on the battery life. I can’t figure it out for the life of me.

Update: Seller reached out to us after we left our review and after a lot of going back and fourth and sending over the photos they eventually requested of the damage, both to box and item, we were eventually offered us a full refund, which we accepted. This means I don’t have to worry about if the keyboard doesn’t last very long due to its damage. I wasn’t sure what to expect when this item arrived as not brought anything like it before. Such a pleasant surprise. Firstly the packaging is outstanding on this item and brand have thought about everything, including where the accessories are stored inside the box and it was well protected, which is good because inner box was damaged in corners quite noticeable so was a big concern and I have noticed the bottom section is loose and if you hold it, seals, so I am assuming although keyboard is functioning well as far as we know, the box being damaged, we believe has caused issues with the outer casing and the left hand lever which although does function, it is a bit wobbly. We have the IPad 11 2025 and they are the perfect fit together in landscape mode. Keyboard function is excellent and love the gentle sound of the keys, as i am typing this review. The quality of this piece is like a piece of art, carefully thought out and executed so well. The design really does mimic the old fashioned type writers of back in my day and it’s an absolute joy using it. The back light function looks lovely but isn’t useful as the keyboard at night is difficult to see, not a worry as i don’t need to look when i am typing except for specific keys occasionally. If you have a larger iPad it will only work in portrait mode, due to the slot width on the typewriter which holds the iPads. This would easily have been a 5 star review if we hadn't received a damaged item. It's EU so rules don't apply the same for returns and we are not able to print off labels, so couldn't send back sadly. Due to the issues with this one and not knowing the longevity it will have being damaged, we believe 3 star is all we can give as it is a lot of money for a damaged item to be received. Such a shame as it really is a beautifully thought out piece of equipment. I would like to see a black sparkle option on this, with brighter back lights and ability to have 1 colour on too. I think it would look super stylish on any table.
