Works Well but Texas Summer stresses
We have applied the SeedRanch K32 Fescue over two seasons now. First to cover a large area in the back yard that is fully shaded that will not support St. Augustine or Bermuda. We sowed the seed in October with a spreader the first season followed by a thin layer of garden soil, and watered in for a couple of weeks. The seed coverage came up over about 90% of the area sowed and looked great during the cooler months here in north Texas. During the summer, even in the shade the heat takes its toll on fescue (and we knew it would). The grass goes limp and loses its dark green color and there is some die-back. In the fall of the next season, we overseed the area and added a little more top soil and increased the coverage area. This batch came up really nicely, even in areas where I just threw some out and covered it with nothing... even in the frigid temps during this past winter (2021). This summer has again see a little die-back, but we plan to overseed the areas once again as the result look really good (in combination with our St. Augustine in the sunny areas) for 8 - 9 months of the year. Even in the summer, weakened condition, the grass that thrives is green and looks better than bare dirt.

Good grass seed
Planting a small horse pasture. Worked great. Quality seed. Very satisfied. Yielded nice lush pasture and my horse is loving it! Love that its fungus free! The area planted is around my big oak-see photo. You can see the difference compared to my regular yard grass which is the closer section in the picture.
