It reaches a mature height of 10 to 15 feet and produces medium-sized figs with green skin and strawberry-colored flesh. Small but Healthy Live Plant
I am writing this review now solely based on current information. If you know much about figs, it is difficult if not impossible to know if you received the type you ordered until the plant produces fruit. Sometimes you can tell by the leaves but it still has to mature before you can do that. The plant I receive was between 2-3 inches so it is small. The main thing though is that the plant I received was perfectly healthy. It was shipped in a well protected packaging in a small pot and the soil was still very moist. I have had no issues since repotted and the plant is thriving.*** NOTE *** I have not purchased from this nursery before so I cannot remark about any confidence in receiving the correct variety that I purchased. Many times when buying mail order plants, the nursery can send the wrong type and some unethical nurseries simply don’t care because it may take 2-3 years or more before you realize it is the wrong variety. Take care when buying mail order but you should expect that this is a risk ESPECIALLY with figs. My review is based on the health of the plant received and no review on the certainty of variety.

Arrived in great shape!!
Both plants were well packed and in great shape. I planted them in a tub 2 days after they arived. The picture is todays 8/11/2024. They both have grown more leaves and a bit taller. They will be planted in their permanent place in the garden this fall. I'll put winter protection around them to help them over their first winter.

EITHER DISEASED OR IN SHOCK
I was so disappointed it was so small I couldn't believe it, I was thinking I would get something that was twice the size, not the size of a single Vinca, as you can see it's dying don't waste your money.

Great fig tree
I'm very pleased. The tree arrived in late March of 2024 just a single sapling with a few leaves. I acclimated it for about a week on my balcony before transplanted to an 8x8 ceramic pot. It's now July of 2024 and I am seeing figs forming!Admittedly I have been in Florida a long time and growing various plants. Shocked me in a good way that this little tree is fruiting already.Update, repotting helped fruit to ripen. Great plant!

Pretty small but in good shape--
It will take years for this "tree" to mature into a fruit-bearing size. It's only about 6" tall. That said, it is in good shape and is growing as I write this.I'm old, so I may not live long enough to taste any of its fruit, but I'll make a great effort!

Cute
This plant is very small as expected but seems healthy. I transplanted it to a larger pot and it's in the shade to acclimate to our environment . I feel like it's kind of expensive but what isn't these days. Lets hope it thrives.

Going gangbusters
Purchased 5 plants - one of the others got a 2 star review for ZERO response from seller when I tried to interact on it's death. This plant is growing like CRAZY. The rest are adjusting and I will review them in a couple weeks.

Wellspring Gardens is Highly Recommended!
Arrived two days sooner than expected.I ordered a Chicago Hardy baby fig tree.Wellspring did such a great job shipping and packing, that the fig tree still had all three of it's leaves intact.I put it in some soil made for tripical plants and it is thriving now in the sunshine. This is the 3rd order that I have made from Wellspring Gardens, and I plan to do much more business with them, due to the quality of their product has been, for me, very excellent and very consistant.
