First of all, these shelves are beautiful. It's obvious the wood crafter really cares about their work. The problem I had was with with hardware. The brackets literally fell apart - as in the post came detached from the rest of the bracket. It looks like the post is supposed to screw into the base of the bracket but the threads were so stripped I ended up gorilla gluing and pounding them back together. I hope they hold. I am two hours into installing these and don't even have one shelf up yet. If the glue does not hold I will have to buy some different brackets. We also did not receive enough screws or anchors - 16 holes and only 12 screws and anchors. I really wanted to be able to give these 5 stars but this is one of the single most frustrating installations I have done and I am no novice at this. It shouldn't be this hard - the brackets should have been one piece. So if you decide to buy these just be aware that you may need different hardware. Otherwise, the shelves themselves are beautiful.

Love my new shelves! The hardware it comes with is top notch. The shelves are sturdy and don't look cheap. My only complaint is the espresso stain isn't as dark as most espressos are. I'll probably have to re-stain mine.

These are pretty nice, substantial look and feel. Installation does not look too difficult. I will edit this if that turns out to be untrue. :)

Installation is not for the faint-hearted! But if you are experienced with construction, you should be able to handle it without getting divorced.

Solid finished shelves love them, used them in our dining room instead of a buffet, more room and adds a modern, yet warm element to the room.
