安定した線幅で細い線が書けてとても書きやすいです。インクフローもよくてかすれなどもありません。

フレックスニブの素晴らしさ。これ以上柔らかい書き心地の万年筆はないのではないでしょうか。私はこのなめらかで、柔らかい書き味がとても気に入っています。とめ、はねなど日本語筆記に適しており、美しい字を書くことができるのも魅力です。

I bought this pen to write Chinese characters, thinking it would let me write brush-pen like strokes - like what people did in videos with alphabets. I’d say it's different when coming to write Kanji/Chinese characters as it's still a fountain pen. You can create thick/varying lines for the left-to-right strokes (as a right handed person) if you apply high pressure, but not in the case of right-to-left strokes. However, the Pilot pen with a falcon nib is still a very pleasant pen to write with.As others mentioned it’s a ‘light-feeling’ pen that can write at low pressing force. I felt it’s important to find a ‘sweet point’s of pressure (pressure you apply to the nib, as well as the pressure you hold the shaft). Too much pressure slows down your speed and may even result in less variation of stroke thickness (Kanji/Chinese characters). On the other hand do not write too lightly, so that you can still have stable lines and good control of the strokes. I have attached a picture of what kind of strokes I was able to write at a regular-ish speed. (1st and 2nd picture, *There are three fuzzy characters, they are stained by water on my finger, not the problem of pen/ink/paper ;p).The falcon nib is VERY flexible. It can be used with light to medium pressure to create SOME variation of line thicknesses. I never experienced any ‘dry strokes’. I guess if you keep using high pressure to push the limit of the nib for thicker strokes that could happen, but not when you write in a regular way.[If you're looking for a pen/nib being able to writing more dramatic change of line thickness for kanji/Chinese characters, look for a pen with specially ground nib (the Naginata Togi route). I bought some double-broad nibs off Ebay and ground them to special shapes and I was able to write some brush-pen like effect, but it's different writing experience that may not suit everyday use purposes]If you write with the back side of the nib, you can have very think lines and write 2mm – 5mm characters.

すごく柔らかくて書いてて楽しい。インクを一番楽しめるニブかもしれない。ただインクの消費量が多く、普通のニブよりも一文字一文字が渇くのに時間がかかりやすい。無論文字の滲み具合も増して必然的に大きい文字にせざるを得なくなるので、普段から文字が小さい人にとっては普段使いは厳しい。手帳に書き込んだりするのは無理。あくまでお遊び的な位置の万年筆になると思う。

The purchase of this Waverly nib on the PIlot 912 was a gamble. It has turned out to be a winner ! This pen is allowing me to concentrate on my penmanship and write deliberately much to the pleasure of the recipient of my correspondence. At the same time, this pen allows me to race as I write where only I need to be able to read the written word. Because this nib is so forgiving and executes perfectly no matter my intent or technique this pen is now my every day writer. What a remarkable purchase. Thank you, Pilot !

POニブ＝ポスティングニブ。ペン先の最先端部が内側（手前側）に曲げられた、パイロット万年筆だけの特殊ニブです。最先端が手前に反らされているお陰で、ペン先がしっかり見える。またインクフローは抑えめであり、紙面のインクはすぐに乾く。以上により、小さい字や細い罫への筆記が非常に楽、かつ実用的です。更に極細ニブながら紙をひっかくような感触はなく、滲みのない綺麗な筆跡が残ります。但し、最先端が内側に沿っているので、少し慣れが必要です。すぐには思うような筆跡を残せないでしょう（すぐに慣れますが）。最も便利に思えるのは、手帳へ小さく字を書くような場面です。この他にも文字を細かく書く必要がある場面では、このPOニブの独壇場と言えます。必要がある方にはぜひオススメしたいです。

ペン先が繊細で柔らかく感じるため長時間の物書きには不向きと感じましたが、それを上回る文字の躍動感が得られます。とても満足です。
