My wife and I recently epoxied our garage floor ourselves, it was a ton of work but worth it! Even the best epoxies will start yellowing where the tires drive over time, leaving yellow tracks in the garage. To combat this, I bought this mat. The pictures were taken just minutes after pulling it from the box an laying it out. Several reviews state they had trouble with the corners not laying flat, using double sided tape, being too thin, ect. I didn't have any of these issues, nor do I think it is too thin for the purpose I purchased it for. As long as you don't try to adjust your steering wheel too much the mat will stay in place. I actually like that it is thin, it makes it easy to handle and lay out to your liking. The rubber backing is nice and seems to have a nice grip on the epoxy. Time will tell how this holds up over winters, but again what I'm really after is protecting the epoxy from direct tire contact. If it holds up I'll purchase another one for the other side of the garage. At that time I'll also update this review. UPDATE: After having the first one all summer, I purchased a second one for the other side of the garage. I thought it did a great job protecting the epoxy finish, as you can see I added a picture with the first mat I purchased pulled up, showing the bare floor. It is true you can power wash the mat out as advertised, I just did this earlier today and it cleaned up nicely. You can tell the difference from the mat I had over the summer as opposed to the one I just bought as the first one has faded a little, not a deal breaker though. The real test will be seeing how these hold up over the winter. I'll post another update in the spring when I clean them out. My recommendation still stands. SECOND UPDATE: I still like these mats very much. Although after two winters I had a hard time getting all the midwest salt out of them with my power washer since they do absorb a ton of water. Wear and tear and multiple washes seemed to wear out the mat and it certainly didn't look as nice as when it was new. Anyone dealing with heavy municipal salt in the winter is going to have to put more work into maintaining these mats. If you live in a climate that mostly sees rain you'll get far more life out of it. I still like them and I recently purchased a replacement. At the end of the day the mat takes the wear and tear and helps protect the epoxy which is ultimately what I wanted.

Perfect for my garage to protect the painted floor.

I bought 2 large mats. I've been cleaning out my unfinished ghetto looking garage, and these mats made a huge difference. My garage looks way better. But I did have to put quite a bit of work into setting them up. First I trimmed 16 inches off the length. It was easy to trim with box cutters a yardstick and measuring tape, and that edge looks great. I gave these mats 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a huge crease in both mats and smaller creases too. They wouldn't lay flat with the creases. I used a steamer, which worked great to get the creases out and they now lay flat. The tape provided is super sticky to bind the mats to the cement underneath. The only flaw in the appearance are little waves that I couldn't smooth out on one edge. However, overall I think it looks great and would definitely recommend this mat. However, you may need to put in some hours to make it look great. I included a picture that has 1 mat steamed and one mat unsteamed side by side. A picture of both steamed and finished. We were looking for a rug to ensure that we did not slop on our garage floor when it got wet and looked good in the process. This product was great, the double sided tape worked perfectly on our epoxy painted garage floor and was easy to install. The manufacturer answered all of our questions ands very helpful. They can supply extra double sided tape if needed.

This is the first winter we have used this mat. Durable keeps all the snow on the mat not all over the floor. No smell and stays flat no buckling

I use this product to cover the whole garage, which is much cheaper than coating the garage floor, which will cost a few thousand dollars. It also turned our garage into a multi function room: both garage and large space family room. No one likes to stay in the garage before we put the floor mat, because the floor is full of cracks and damaged paints, and the floor was cold. Now my kids like to hang out here even without shoes. I still can park my car inside for recharging. I got a 22' to cover the left part of the garage. It took us a while to get it done, but the results look good. The package comes with a small double side tape, but it is not good, and pretty short. I bought a few extra YYXLIFE Double Sided Carpet Tapes, which works great for the mat. Then I ordered a 20' to cover the right part of the garage, because the garage doesn't have lots of space left, and 20' is more narrow and easier to install than 22'. However, actually I got a 17'5" long mat!! I issued replacement, but it is quite disappointed and annoying because I have spent at least an hour to clean and wash the garage, now I have to put it back to the box, return it, and do everything again a few days later, if it will send me a correct one. I hope the seller won't make the same mistake to other consumers. ------------------------- UPDATE: I got the new one 2 days after I issued the replacement request. However, it is 17'5" again!!! It is really annoying. I hope they could do a better job in packaging. I tried to contact their seller through Amazon, and they responded very quickly, and said they will send me one for free. I will update later to see if the next one is correct.

It was just ok , it did let oil thru despite rubber backing

This lies flat, is easy to clean and looks great. Much easier to walk on than my concrete garage floor. After a few days the creases disappeared, and it lays very flat, and doesn't move, even when I drive on it. I am saving up for 3 more.

Seems a little flimsy, but haven’t used it yet.
